Based on the nonlinear Finite Element model with degenerated beam element, combing Monte Carlo method with piecewise response surface, a hybrid stochastic deflection method of reinforced concrete beam is developed to give consideration to efficiency and accuracy. Piecewise response surface are adopted to avoid the errors between a single response surface and real unsmooth response function, due to the cracking of concrete. Variability of deflection of a set of test beams is evaluated by present model. The results demonstrate the capacity of the present model in computing the stochastic deflection of nonlinear reinforced concrete beams.?????
