With the rational fraction form or the exponential form as a replacement of $delta$-function form as the density distribution of black holes, the mass-smeared regularized AdS black holes are investigated from their configurations and thermodynamics, including variation of the mass with respect to the horizon radius and the Hawking temperature, entropy, Gibbs free energy, and heat capacity at a constant pressure as well. It turns out that the mass-smeared black hole possesses anextremal configuration in which the temperature is zero. Based on the first law of thermodynamics, there is a modification to the area law which depends on the form of smearing. The Gibbs free energy corresponding to phase structure may behave differently at different vacuum pressures, specifically, the phase structure is more complex in a low pressure. We reveal similarities for the black holes of the two forms both in configurations and thermodynamics. |
