In this paper, we are concerned a class of degenerate elliptic problem which is relatedto the Caffarelli-Kohn-Nirenberg inequalities. We first prove a global compactness result and thenobtain sign-changing solutions for the above problem. Due to the degeneracy of the second order ellipticoperator, some new phenomena appear.
