Performance of free-space optics (FSO) link using multiplexing orbital angular momentum (OAM) states over non-Kolmogorov turbulent model is investigated in this paper. The probability of keeping the original OAM state after passing through the atmosphere turbulence has been estimated by the numerical analysis. We show that the detection probability of the original OAM state varies along with the topological charge of the transmitted OAM state, the aggregate capacity and per-channel bit-error rate are investigated to verify the influence imposed by the turbulence of the multi-OAM system.
Keywords:Wireless communication technology; orbital angular momentum; atmospheric turbulence; detection probability; channel capacity; bit-error rate?????
