This paper introduces a new reliable transport protocol, called Coded Cubic, which combines network coding with Cubic TCP, with retransmission schedule and mechanism of congestion control adjusted appropriately. According to the characteristics of Coded Cubic, redundancy parameter adjustment mechanism is proposed to adapt to the changing environment. Coded Cubic were implemented in Linux kernel with small changes in the existing implementation of standard TCP and tested in real environment, the test results show that Coded Cubic has a great performance improvement compared with standard Cubic in lossy wireless network, besides, Coded Cubic is friendly with standard TCP and has good fairness between Coded Cubic flows.
