The equivalent dipole moment (EDM) method is introduced into the marching-on-in-time (MOT) solver of time domain volume surface integral equation (VSIE) for the analysis of transient electromagnetic scattering from the composite structures comprising PEC and dielectric materials. It is the extension of frequency domain EDM to the time domain. Numerical examples demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed method.
Keywords:marching-on-in-time; volume surface integral equation; equivalent dipole-moment method
