We propose a feasible scheme to realize nonlinear Ramsey interferometer that uses a Bose-Einstein condensate in an optical cavity, where the nonlinearity arises both from the mean-field treatment of the coherent atomic interaction and the atom--cavity-filed coupling. We present numerical simulations to study the effects both of the cavity-pump detuning and the initial state on the Ramsey interference fringes in the time domain. We find that both the modification to the fringe's period induced by the atom--cavity-field coupling and the visibility of the Ramsey fringes strongly depend on the choice of the initial state.
