In this paper, we shall discuss the asymptotically abelian property of ultrapowers of finite factors. We prove that the ultrapower $\mathcal{R}^{\alpha}$ and the central sequences $\mathcal{R}_{\alpha }$ has the asymptotically abelian property when the finite factor $\mathcal{R}$ has the asymptotically abelian property. Applying the result, we present some examples.
