In this paper, the influence of offset-time on Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) bandwidth is investigated experimentally on the priority Just-Enough-Time (JET) Optical Burst Switching (OBS) testbed. Considering the effect of delay penalty and burst priority introduced by offset-time, experimental results show that there is optimized offset time for maximizing available TCP throughput.
