Authors: HU Wenbin, WANG Hailun, WANG Shigong
PP: 608-619
Abstract: Based on the records of average daily human temperature by the 22 observation stations in Huanghuai region from 1961 to 2010 and the analysis of the distribution of human temperature and comfort degree in the 15 El Niño years and the years followed respectively in 50a in time and space, this paper aims to explore the influence of El Niño on the comfort degree of people living in Huanghuai region. It turned out that: El Niño had a bigger influence on human temperature in summer and winter than in spring and autumn. The human temperature in that year is relatively low in that year and the winter and next summer, autumn and winter saw a higher human temperature, with a chance of more than 60%. There exist an obvious inter-decade variation in the human temperature and extreme discomfort degree in 50a. A relatively greater difference was found around the 1990s. The frequency of extreme discomfort in El Niño years and the followed respectively was lower than that of other years. An obvious regional variation could be found in terms of the influence of El Niño on people in Huanghuai region. In general, the influence on the south part of Huanghuai region and eastern costal region were greater than on the north part and inland region. Its influence on Jiaodong peninsula was especially significant. An obvious regional variation could be found in terms of the influence of El Niño on human comfort level in Huanghuai region at different times and with the intensity of El Niño in different years varying. However, human comfort level was in fact affected by combined factors, among which El Niño only played its own role. For this reason, the data of some of the years was inconsistent with our conclusion and even went opposite with it.

PP: 575-580
Abstract: As stratigraphic lacunae, mezzanine and thick mudstone all exist in Linxing tight gas block of Ordos basin, wellbore shrinkage, casting and other complicated conditions happen often. In the middle and lower old formations from Triassic Liu Jiagou group, the heavy backlog compaction degree is high, the lithology is good, bond dense and with strong abrasive lead to poor drillability, the rate of penetration (ROP) is low, the drilling cycle is long, which seriously restrict the process of exploration and development of Linxing block. According to the drilling geological characteristics of this block, efforts have been made to tackle the technical difficulties in drilling acceleration, and a complete set of techniques have been developed though such measures as polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) drill bits design, bottom hole assembly optimization, inhibitive drilling fluids optimization and using hydraulic pulse cavitation jet speed supporting tools. After application, the average ROP improved 20.14%-159.74%, well bore quality 100% qualified, the complex rate shortened 37%. Field application showed that the techniques for drilling acceleration have improved the ROP, reduced the downhole trouble rate and shortened the drilling cycle.

PP: 627-632
Abstract: Buoyant tower platform is a kind of drilling and production platform. During the installation of the platform, floatover method will be used. Taking offshore installation as a case, this paper introduced the first application of floatover installation method on the BPZ CX-15 field buoyant tower platform installation. A method for calculation and analysis the stress during platform sliding and installation of topside and truss structure is proposed using SACS software. The calculation result and sucessful platform installation prove that floatover method is suitable for the buoyant tower installation. The maximum structure stress is on floatover condition, which is the most dangerous condition through strength check and analysis.

Authors: JING Yuanshu, LI Jian, BUAPHEAN Ruthaikarn, HAO Yu, ZENG Wenquan
PP: 620-626
Abstract: According to the moderate-resolution imaging spectroradiometer (MODIS) data and growth and development data of rice planting area in Jiangsu province, enhanced vegetation index (EVI) was selected to inverse the value of leaf area index (LAI) in 2010. The inversed result agreed with the ground observations of LAI. By extracting the MODIS-EVI index time series and using Savizky-Golay filter to remove noise, the identification of five main rice stages was realized according to the rice in the EVI index. It was verified by the observation data of rice from the local agriculture meteorological stations. The rice growth stage recognition algorithm was applied to each pixel, and the rice seedling stage, transplanting stage, young panicle differentiation stage, heading stage and maturity distribution map of Jiangsu province was appeared in 2010. The method is effectively able to extract the main growth period of rice, and provides reference for regional rice growth dynamic monitoring.

Authors: QU Li, GUO Zhongyang
PP: 602-607
Abstract: Based on the the first national census data, comibined with digital elevation model (DEM), geographic information system (GIS) spatial analysis technology, Voronoi diagrams theory, and the landscape pattern index analysis method, this paper studies spatial distribution characteristics, landscape layout characteristics of Dayao county which is a typical plateau area. The analysis results show that CV value of rural settlements in Dayao county is 94.53%, which demonstrates the distribution of rural settlements in Dayao county is in cluster. All of 8 towns’ CV values are greater than the Dayao’s CV value, showing high cluster characteristics. In Dayao county, level 2-5 terrain is the advantage distribution range of rural settlements, the level of terrain is at 3 and 4, a distribution of superior performance is more apparent. Since terrain at level 5, with the increasing of terrain, the area of rural settlements and the number of patches decrease, but average patch fractal dimension has little change, the sizes of patches are small and patches’ shapes are irregular. This study shows the layout characteristics of rural settlements in Dayao and their related reasons, which can provide scientific basis for rural residential planning and construction.

PP: 593-601
Abstract: Plenty of pyrite was found in the bottom of smelly limestone in Qixia formation in north Chaohu, Anhui province. There were two forms of pyrite including nodular pyrite and filling Anthozoa’s fossils pyrite, by reflective microscope, we found the main forms of pyrite crystals were cube, octahedron, pentagonal dodecahedron and nearly round. Pyrite framboids were observed through scanning electron microscope (SEM). We count the size of the pyrite framboids and find a large range, the diameter is up to 20.0 μm and the average is about 11.3 μm, indicating that pyrite is formed in upper oxygen-depleted water environment. According to the diameter of the pyrite framboids and microcrystal size comparison, we know that there is a linear relationship between the diameter of the pyrite framboids and the minimum diameter of the microcrystal, that is, the larger the pyrite framboids, the greater the minimum diameter of the microcrystal; pyrite framboid smaller, the smaller of the minimum diameter of the microcrystal.

Authors: CHEN Ding, CHENG Jiulong, HUANG Qisong, HAO Jingbo
PP: 586-592
Abstract: In this paper, whole-space all-time transient electromagnetic (TEM) responses of any point from a small square loop except on the loop path, was derived based on reciprocity and integration, by use of the known homogeneous whole-space tangential electric field excited by magnetic doublet and response equation of central loop. According to the behaviors of the kernel function Y'(ω) and Y(ω) respectively for Bz and ∂Bz/∂t, the TEM field was divided into early-time, middle-time and late-time period. Model calculation showed that extremum of Bz and ∂Bz/∂t within the loop was moved inward over time along the direction of 45°to the edge of rectangular loop during early-time, and the propagation law of vertical magnetic field time derivative ∂Bz/∂t was well consistent with Bz propagation. Furthermore, the velocity of ∂Bz/∂t was more than that of Bz in early-time.

PP: 581-585
Abstract: The performance of the unitized regenerative fuel cell (URFC) under electrolyzer mode was tested in a self designed and the experimental system was built under different thermophysical parameters (temperature, flow rate and angle of inclination) by a self designed URFC of pure titanium flow fields. The experimental results indicate that with the increasing of temperature, the performance of URFC electrolyte is increased. Flow rate, angle of inclination and direction of gravity change the performance of URFC under electrolyzer mode by influencing the two-phase flow in oxygen electrode.

PP: 570-574
Abstract: Wind load torque is the main factor of designing the solar photovoltaic power generation systems support basis to consider. In addition to the wind load, the action arm is the other factor influencing the working torque, and action arm is mainly decided by the position of the action point. For solar photovoltaic system components in regular geometric shapes, the point position to withstand wind load due to the installation angle of the photovoltaic modules and the change of wind load on the force, the point offset as the change of the force and angle have different variations. In this paper, through analysis on wind load force and action arm of solar photovoltaic modules surface, we verify that under different angles and different wind speeds, the wind load point acting on the solar photovoltaic modules will offset, and with the increasing of angle and wind speed, the offset presents different increased degrees.

Title: Synthesis and separation properties of ultrathin polyethyleneimine films
Authors: PENG Xinsheng, ZHOU Zhanxin
PP: 565-569
Abstract: In order to solve synthesis change for ultrathin and high efficient nano separation membranes, a new method was developed to prepare ultrathin polyethyleneimine thin films by filtering pre-cross-linked branched ethyleneimine solution on a porous dissovable metal hydroxide nanowire thin film. This nanowire thin film served as both supporting and sacroficial layer. The effect of the molecular weight of the branched ethyleneimine monomers was investigated. The corresponding separation performances of the synthesized ultrathin polyethyleneimine thin films were evaluated for the separation of dye molecules. They demonstrated very nice separation for 5 nm gold particles. This indicates they may hold the potential for nanoparticle-wasted water treatment and purification. The method presented here provides an efficiently to prepare ultrathin separation layer on macroporous support, and may also extend to prepare other ultrathin thin films.

Abstract: The paper investigated the effects of different porosity and polarization treatments for porous HA/BaTiO3 biological piezoelectric ceramic on MG63 cell adhesion, proliferation and differentiation capabilities. In this study, porosity of 40%, 50%, 60% of HA/BaTiO3 were prepared in ice-templating method. The mechanical strength and piezoelectric effect had been used to characterize. With different contents of BaTiO3, porous HA/BaTiO3 cultivation together with the mouse fibroblast L929 line cytotoxicity experiment was determined by MTT method, which showed there was no toxic effect. For HA/BaTiO3 with porosity of 50%, through in vitro cell experiment, it was found that polarization was not obvious to promote MG63 effect on adhesion, proliferation and differentiation. Non-polarized and polarized HA/BaTiO3 with porosity of 50% were used for animals experiment. The results showed that polarization implant material may affect bone growth through its piezoelectric effect and promote bone formation of bone growth in the early years.

PP: 529-536
Abstract: The morphology of self-assembled micro/nano-materials plays an important role in their properties and functions. So the research of stimuli-responsive morphology transformation of micro/nano-materials can promote the insights into controlled self-assembly and simulation of biological self-assembly. When performing functions in living cells, the micro/nano-materials usually change their physiochemical properties such as shape and volume, which may cause cytotoxicity and influence on cell functions. Therefore, it is essential to study the stimuli-triggered cytotoxicity of micro/nano-materials, and this can be instructive for the construction of stimuli-responsive theranostic materials.
