The inner hidden water-bearing bodies are the causes of the water disaster in the working face of coalmine. In order to detect the inner water-bearing bodies under the floor of working face, a new DC detecting method, that is, the parallel Bipole-Dipole method was introduced; and in the data interpretation method, this paper provided the Resistivity Computerized Tomography Method to inverse the position of the (simulated) water-bearing bodies. The modeling test in water tank and trial on spot both indicated that it is feasible and valid with the Bipole-Dipole method in detecting the inner water disaster of the working face, and it would be a promising future as its obvious virtue of amplified observation signals and adaptive range.
Keywords:parallel bipolar-dipole method; modeling test in water tank; the working face water disaster; resistivity computerized tomography
