In this paper, we investigate some new properties of modules over a formal triangular matrix ring $R$, we study the quasi-injectivity and the projective dimension of modules; A condition is found for a $R$-module to be a p.p. module; We determine necessary and sufficient conditions for $R$ to be regular or Dedekind-finite.
