Frequency tracking is a key issue in modern communications. In this paper, an indirect digital Phase-Locked frequency tracking loop is proposed by using phase-locked nested structure. Theory analysis and simulation results show that the design method proposed is able to achieve effectively frequency locking and tracking with better anti-noise performance and lower power dissipation.
