It is difficult to determine the robust stability of time-delay systems with interval parameters because the number of eigenvalues of the systems is infinite. To solve the problem of robust stability test of the systems, we develop a 2-D algebraic test for stability of time-delay systems with an edge test set based on Kharitonov vertex polynomials. Constructing a 2-D s-z hybrid polynomial family with interval parameters based on the characteristic polynomial of given interval time-delay system, the robust stability of the edges of interval 2-D polynomial can ensure the given interval delay system to be stable. Some complex Hurwitz-Schur test algorithms for the robust stability of 2-D s-z hybrid interval polynomial are provided. Simulation for an example verifies the results of the paper to be correct.
