A new L-type matching network was designed and the effects of matching network on resonant frequency and vibrational characteristics of ultrasonic transducers were studied. The theory and the experiment show that the L-type matching network composed of two inductors can change the resonant frequency.The transmission efficiency and the coupling between ultrasonic generator and transducer can be improved by changing the parameters of matching network.
