The insertion reactions of hydrido acyl cobalt(III) complexes with alkynes, 1,4-(刱儃C6H4儃刱) and 4,4ˇ-(刱儃C6H4儃C6H4儃刱), provide a method to prepare the vinyl dinuclear cobalt (⒒) complexs. To our konwledge, this presentation is the first example of a structurally characterized vinyl dinuclear cobal(III) complex.
