A dynamic frequency equalization method is essential for many radio-over-fiber (RoF) applications due to the time-varying physical surrounding around them. In this letter, a simple and easy-implemented scheme for dynamically equalizing the RoF link is proposed with the help of a tunable and reconfigurable microwave-photonic filter. A novel equipment of variable optical tilt filter (VOTF) made of transparent electro-optic ceramic material and controlled by electronic driving circuit is the key component in the filter to realize the dynamic frequency equalization. By feedback control, any expected frequency equalization can be realized with high speed. Both the experiments and results are presented in the letter, which verify the validity and flexibility of this method further.
