We have successfully demonstrated the frequency doubling of femtosecond Yb-doped fiber laser based on a PPKTP waveguide inscribed by femtosecond laser in our experiment. Using an average power of ~7.3W the maximum second harmonic generation (SHG) output power is about 306mW, corresponding to a conversion efficiency of 4.2%.
