Network monitoring system is a management system responsible for effective monitoring of the change of network environment and network nodes, links, topology and other real-time status information. Network monitoring system needs to achieve high reliability and needs to be real-time, to make the the network monitoring more reasonable and efficient. As a cross-platform graphical user interface programming framework based on object-oriented idea, Qt graphics library can achieve design and implementation of a network monitoring system with reasonable and efficient visual monitoring functionalities. Qt-based development system administrator can observe the network node and link-level information through front interface program , and obtain the situation of real-time occupancy of network resources, which guarantees reliability and real-time charactoristic of network monitoring system.
