In this paper,we present a novel method to adjust enhanced X-band microwave transmission and beaming through controlling the distance between grooves on the front and back surface. Extraordinary transmission and beaming effect was influenced at X-band microwave frequencies (8-12GHZ). It demonstrates a new way to achieve directional selectivity in microwave frequencies.
