Based on the analysis of social information foraging model and related theories, this paper focused on the interference effect between patches in the social information foraging environment and proposed that group diversity play an important role in this process. Then this paper built the interference cost model of this process to improve the social information foraging model. Experimental results show the correctness and practical value of this model.
