Aim to the problems of control for hydraulic cylinder array in wood-based panel continuous press, synergetic control for displacement-pressure primary-minor servo unit was proposed. The method established primary-minor structure between two actuators to drive them output different physical parameters synchronously. As for each actuator, established order parameter formula and derive control rules based on synergetics. It achieved viscoelastic process control in continuous press. By constructing Lyapunov function, examined control performance. The simulation results demonstrate that the method achieves synergetic control for single input (displacement) double output (displacement and pressure). It works gently without oscillation. And the control accuracy reaches 3%~4%.
