In this paper, we present a nonlinear transform to efficiently reduce the high peak-to-average power ratio of OFDM. The nonlinear transform changes time domain signal amplitude‘s statistic distribution from Rayleigh to approximate uniform, therefore not only reduce time domain signal’s dynamic range, but also reduce the high peak to average power ratio to a low level. The proposed scheme performed well when in the circumstances of Rayleigh fading channel on the symbol error rate. The proposed scheme’s performance is confirmed by simulations
