| In recent years, by apple, Google, Microsoft and other companies competing with each other, the smartphones are becoming more and more intelleligent, making the smartphone operating-system technology more complicated. In China, the smartphone industry is facing a huge market of nearly more than 500 million users. It is a great oppotunity for Chinese smartphone makers. However, the weak patents reserve of smartphone operating-system technology increases local smartphone makers' business risks. By using patent map method, this research expects to provide a overview of the distribution of smart phone operating-system patents, and hopes it could be useful for local smart phone makers' R&D decisions. |
