Motivated by the latest improved measurements of B-meson decays, we make a combined updated analysis of the impact of a family non-universal $Z^{prime}$ boson on $B_s-ar{B}_s$ mixing and two-body hadronic B-meson decays, all being characterized by the quark-level $b o s$ transition. In this paper, 22 B-meson decay modes and related 52 observables are evaluated, and some interesting correlations between the observables are carefully examined. Firstly, we extract the allowed oases of $b-s-Z^{prime}$ coupling parameters $|B^{L,R}_{sb}|$ and $phi^{L,R}_s$ through $B_s-ar{B}_s$ mixing. Then, in the ``SM limit", focusing on the so-called ``$pi K$ CP puzzle'', we study the $Z^{prime}$ effects on the $B opi K$, $pi K^{st}$ and $ ho K$ decays. Moreover, the impacts of $Z^{prime}$ boson on $ar{B}_s o K K$, $K K^{st}$ and $pi^0 phi$ decays, being induced by the same quark-level $b o s qar{q}~(q=u,d)$ transitions, are also evaluated. Finally, to check the non-universality of $Z^{prime}$ boson couplings to light quark pairs, we have studied $B o phi K$ decays.
