This paper has already investigated a manufacturing company on the spot, which has passed ISO9000 and ISO14000 standard systems. Interviews about environment management systems and relevant accounting behaviors were given to relevant personnel in the manufacturing department and comprehensive management office respectively. Furthermore investigations on environmental consciousness of staff were carried on in a form of questionnaire. The investigation results show that: (1) it is important to combine environmental behavior with business decision; (2) real example study is a very effective way to learn about the status of environmental accounting application as well as eliminate obstacles of putting environmental accounting into practice.
