Title: The analysis of huge sum of China's foreign exchange reserve
Authors: YU Fangsheng, PENG Runzhong
PP: 1092~1098
Abstract: During the past few years, foreign exchange reserve increases by leaps and bounds, and is up to now already 1 500 billion U.S. dollar. The ample foreign exchange reserve scale brings about a lot of latent serious problems while reflects China s big and powerful economy. Therefore, carrying out the research in this field is very important in current time. By probing the causes of sharp increase of foreign exchange reserve in detail firstly, and analyzing this problem s negative influence secondly, the paper suggests many actual countermeasures at last. The conclusions Tnclude: 1) The current high trade surplus is the main reason for the sharp increase of foreign exchange reserves. The influx of hot money, FDI continued steady growth, the sudden increase of overseas financing and institutional factors are the basic reasons of huge foreign exchange reserve. 2) With the rapid growth of foreign exchange reserves in the current situation, the government need to take positive measures to reduce trade surplus, and improve the yield of foreign exchange reserves. However, the most fundamental measure is to encourage foreign exchange reserves “going out”, which is the key way to solve this problem.

Title: Factors affecting the location of FDI in Jiangsu Province
Authors: TANG Wenjun, WANG Wenwu
PP: 1074~1080
Abstract: In the process of economic globalization, the speed of the world capital flow accelerates and its quantity increases. However, regional development is highly unbalanced, namely foreign direct investment (FDI) in the host country shows the trend of geographical concentration. Therefore, the competitions among countries and areas rely on social comparative advantages instead of the natural resources. Jiangsu Province is one of the highly open economies in China. The space disparity of FDI is more and more obvious and the amount of FDI is increasing quickly. The quantity distribution of FDI is decreasing from the south to the north in Jiangsu Province. The differences of the south, middle and north is evident, which is similar to economic disparities. This paper discusses the factors of FDI regional discrepancy by environment-system-policy(ESP) model and analyses the regional determinants of FDI in Jiangsu Province by the means of panel data analysis and constructs panel data model on the whole province, south, middle and north, with the statistics data from 1997 to 2006. Based on the findings, this paper presents the corresponding policy suggestions.

PP: 1040~1048
Abstract: Aiming at the wasteful actuality for the moment that during the producing processes of hydraulic supports it has to manufacture the physical prototype after scheming out the two-dimension drawings, and then experiment on the physical prototype to validate whether the design is right. This paper summarizes the development of hydraulic supports internal and external. And this paper founded the mechanical model of the ZY3600/12/27.5L hydraulic support, educed the relations between the column-type support and the loads acting on the hydraulic support by calculating, especially analyzed and examined the intensity of the column-type support. On the ground of this, according to the practical conditions of the collieries in Fuxin, it chose the appropriate colliery to the ZY3600/12/27.5L hydraulic support. As well as by combining with computer aided design(CAD) and using Pro/ENGINEER, it founded the 3D model and dynamic simulation analysis of the ZY3600/12/27.5L hydraulic support which designed by Tianan Mining Machine Limited Liability Company in Shenyang, and at the same time it completed the works of checking the interferences and pointing out the mistakes in the design. Authors: ZOU Wennan, ZHAO Yong, DONG Hong
PP: 1021~1029
Abstract: The vortex detection is one of the kernel subjects in the analysis of flow field. Researchers have developed many feature-based vortex detection technologies even though there is no clear definition on the notion vortex. In this paper, based on the understanding of streamline structure, the vortex pattern was identified through the swirling relation. The parameter system with speed, curvature and torsion was used to classify the streamlines. The vortex area and the vortex core area at a point were now defined by the swirling relation of streamlines around the streamline at the point, and a new parameter system was deduced to recognize the vortex region. Finally, four typical examples were used to verify the effectiveness of new criterions.

Title: Damage localization technique based on mode shape parameter
Authors: ZHU Shuiwen, FAN Jianping, WANG Cheng
PP: 1015~1020
Abstract: This paper presented a methodology to locate damage in structures for which the first two natural frequencies and mode shapes were available. Based on the analysis of the dynamic characteristics of beam structure before and after damaging, the paper established the concept of the fraction of modal energy as a factor sensitive to element damages. According to the factorization method of local damages of the structure, indicating factors sensitive to element damages were established to deduce the change of the elemental modal strain energy before and after element damaging. Then, the concept of error index for a given mode and the concept of damage indicator for all available modes were deduced. Finally, a methodology to locate damage in beam structure was given using the error index and the damage indicator. As a numerical experiment, the simulation was carried out using general-purpose finite element software ADINA for a simple supported beam and modal responses of the structure were generated before and after damage. The experimental results illustrated that the method was effective and robust in locating structural damage.

Authors: MAO Anxiong, CHEN Liangsen
PP: 1001~1006
Abstract: The situation of singular yield surface are very common in the research of constitutive relation of geo-materials, for example, two-yield-surface soil model, four-parameter concrete model, and so on. But the theory of elastic-plastic constitutive is generally suitable for regular yield surface. It is not suitable for singular yield surface. This paper discusses the yield function, loading unloading criterion and constitutive equation of Lagrangian finite deformation elastic-plasticity theory. Finally, Lagrangian finite elastic plasticity theory is used on constitutive models of elastic-plasticity at infinitesimal strain, and the complete constitutive relation for singular yield surface theory is obtained. This paper are integrated into the Lagrangian theory of elastic-plastic constitutive, and is significant for the research of constitutive relation of geo-materials.

Title: Study of finite element model updating of flexible body
Authors: LI Weiming, HONG Jiazhen
PP: 995~1000
Abstract: Techniques of dynamic model updating was important for setting up an accurate model of a mechanical system. This paper proposes an improved minimum norm method based on the damage detection of the residual force vector. By using the QR decomposition method, the mode mixed with noise is eliminated in matrix inverse process, reducing the impact of noise during the model updating. Using the thinking of two-step method in the course of model updating, this paper obtains the error location of the model for the first step, and achieves the approximately accurate error localization that is adding physics boundary condition for model updating. Then on the basis of this amendment, they can have better model updating results. Theoretical model obtained by the model updating has a higher confidence level which can be better serving for engineering technology.

Title: Snap buckling between delaminated electrode and piezoelectric layer with finite thickness under pure bending
Authors: YANG Changjin, LI Yaochen
PP: 981~994
Abstract: Based on the finite displacement theory of elasticity and the biasing field theory of the electro-elastic body, the paper analyzed electrode delamination buckling of the layered system with finite thickness containing a through-the-width delamination between the metallic electrode and the piezoelectric layer. In the plane strain problem, layered system subjected to the pure bending load is reduced to a system of homogeneous Cauchy-type singular integral equations of the second kind by means of the Fourier integral transform, boundary condition and interfacial continuous condition. The singular integral equations are solved numerically by utilizing Gauss-Chebyshev integral formulae. As an example, the finite sized layered system of the metallic electrode material Pt and piezoelectric material PZT-4 is considered. Numerical results for the critical buckling bending moments and corresponding delamination buckling shapes are presented for various ratios of the delamination length to thickness.

Title: Stationary response of multi-degree-of-freedom dissipated Hamiltonian systems under Poisson pulses
Authors: WU Yu, ZHU Weiqiu
PP: 973~980
Abstract: The paper studied the stationary probabilistic and statistical characteristics of multi-degree-of-freedom (MDOF) dissipated Hamiltonian systems driven by random pulses. The pulse model adopted is Poisson white noise. The approximate stationary probability density functions and mean square values for the response of MDOF dissipated Hamiltonian systems to Poisson white noise are obtained by solving the four-order generalized Fokker-Planck equation using perturbation approach. As an example, two Duffing oscillators coupled with linear and nonlinear stiffness terms are investigated. It is shown that the non-Gaussian behavior depends on the product of the average arrival rate of the impulses and the relaxation time of the oscillator. The validity of this approach is confirmed by experimental results obtained by Monte Carlo simulation.
