Abstract: Mobile IPv6 has become a key protocol in the future mobile communication network due to the virtue of enough global IP addresses and more perfect technique. The new authentication, authorization, accounting(AAA) protocol specially designed for mobile networks, namely Diameter, will be adopted in the future mobile communication network. Moreover, it is required to integrate MIPv6 with Diameter to carry out Diameter based MIPv6 registration when MIPv6 runs in commerce environments. By combining the public key system and the symmetric key system, this paper proposes a Diameter based MIPv6 secure roaming protocol to realize registration and authentication, authorization, accounting in different managing networks, which provided bidirectional authentications and the integrity and novelty protections for the data in the registration process.

PP: 1207~1212
Abstract: The nonlinear property of flow-meter and the error caused by it are analyzed and the nonlinear model for flow-meter is established. To solve the defects of simple genetic algorithm(SGA) such as slow convergence and being subject to pre-maturity, an improved genetic algorithm is proposed, which includes many strategies, like reserving the best individuals and adopting self-adaptive temperature. By applying this modified genetic algorithm to the parameters identification of non-linear flow-meter, comparison results show that the improved algorithm has better global optimal ability and faster convergence ability. Based on parameters identification of nonlinear apparatus, the paper has provided an accurate and convenient method for the on-line calculating of main steam flow, and thus has significant meaning during actual production in power plant.

PP: 1194~1199
Abstract: Based on the modulation mechanism of neuroendocrine-immune system, this paper presents a novel nonlinear optimized intelligent controller(NOIC). The NOIC is composed of a presentation unit(PU), an antibody control unit(ACU), a main control unit(MCU), an optimization unit(OU) and an identification unit(IU). PU can pretreat the real-time control error dynamically based on the mechanism of immune presentation, and the ACU can adjust the number of antibody controller entity(ACE) to eliminate control error. MCU is designed to regulate the control action of PU and ACU. And the OU and IU can optimize the parameters of the PU and ACU based on the genetic algorithm(GA). The simulation results demonstrate that the control performance of the NOIC is better than that of the conventional PID controller.

Authors: ZHANG Fan, LV Yalan, XIANG Zheng
PP: 1189~1193
Abstract: In this paper, a low-power, high reliability current limit circuit is proposed. Because of the low cost and low noise, the low dropout(LDO) linearity regulator is widely used. The LDO has higher quiescent dissipation compared with the high efficient DC/DC converter, so the problem about how to decrease the quiescent dissipation is in dire need of solving. The current limit circuit which is proposed in the paper can effectively lower the circuit's quiescent dissipation, and enhance the reliability of the system with the application of fold back function. The structure and principles were analyzed and simulated with 2 μm 40 V BJT process. With this process, the feasibility and reliability of the circuit was proved by Hspice. The circuit can reduce the quiescent dissipation 75% compared with the conventional constant current limit under the 1 A load current condition. It has been used in a low dropout voltage(LDO) linear buck regulator with 12 V output voltage successfully.

Abstract: The existence of jitter affects the digital systems performance and reliability. Hence, it is necessary to test jitter s impact on the digital system. Jitter generator, which is a part of jitter test system, is indispensable. The relationship between the equivalent noise voltage and jitter has been analyzed, and a novel method has been designed to realize the jitter generator based on the equivalent noise voltage model, which can control most of the characteristics of the jitter, and generate not only the non-Gaussian distributed jitter component, but also the Gaussian distributed jitter componet. The timing simulation on FPGA proved that this method is efficient and can meet the system s requirement. PP: 1178~1183
Abstract: This paper proposes an efficient method for analyzing enclosures with thin-slot on finite-difference time-domain(FDTD). The tranditional FDTD has some difficulties in modaling high-Q enclosures and tiny structures. FDTD is used to modeling the enclosures with thin-slot, and the acceleration technique of artificial losses is introduced to shorten the process of simulation. At the same time, thin-slot formulation(TSF) is used to reduce the complexity of modeling the slot. The simulation result is compared with the results of test and limit analysis. Then the efficient is enhanced sharply and the results are stable. This model is used in simulating some special cases of shielding enclosure, which has some instructions for enclosure design.

Abstract: Development of high-performance numerical controlled current source can promote that of scientific instruments and solve the conflict between performance indicators and research cycle. It is of high practical value and plays an important part in social significance. This current supply is based on the Lingyang microcontroller SPCE061A; it uses the voltage-controlled current circuit to get the steady flow. The output current is devided into two ranges: 20~200 mA and 200~2 000 mA. Relays controlled by microcontroller realizes the switching between these two ranges. DAC convertor makes the step change, and ADC samples the voltage, which is subsequently converted into the corresponding current value by software. The system is made up of the following modules: keyboard-input, microcontroller core, voltage-controlled-current output, and display part. The actual qualifications are satisfying. PP: 1166~1169
Abstract: This paper presents the design of the physical layer interface of the DTTB receiver, Both of its construction and principle are introduced specificatly in this paper, together with its realization using field programmable gate array(FPGA). including its hardware realization using FPGA. This interface is the last module of the physical layer receiver, and is the conversion module converting data from the format of physical layer transportation to the format of video decoding. Data of physical layer are always series, with different data rates in different systems. But the input transform stream of video decoding should accord with the synchronous serial interface standard(SPI). So a conversion interface is necessary after channel decoding. The whole conversion system described in this paper is realized by three sub-modules. Both of its construction and principle are introduced specifically in this paper, together with its realization using Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA).

PP: 1152~1157
Abstract: The low transmission power and the large bandwidth used, enable an UWB system to co-exist with other narrow band systems. The narrow band interference to UWB systems must be considered when DS-UWB systems are designed. In this paper, the method with characteristic function is presented for precisely calculating the bit-error probability of the DS-UWB systems in the presence of CDMA interference in a multi-path environment. In the end, the simulation tests and numerical analysis are carried out based on the IEEE 802.15.3a channel model. The results show that the characteristic function method is accurate for predicting the BER performance of the UWB systems in the presence of CDMA interference.

Title: Image zooming algorithm based on stair thinning
Authors: HOU Guoqiang
PP: 1141~1146
Abstract: Image zooming involves the well-known zigzagging artifacts in digital image edge areas. The edges of digital image are non-continuity and can be seen as containing many stairs. The reason for zigzagging artifacts is that the non-continuity is also enlarged in image zooming. According to above analysis, a hybrid algorithm for image zooming based on stair thinning is proposed to decrease the artifacts. This algorithm adopts bilinear interpolation in smooth area. And Canny egde detection algorithm is implemented. In the detected edge area, stairs are detected and horizontal and vertical edges are removed, since they produce no zigzagging artifacts. In order to decrease zigzagging artifacts, in the edge areas containing many stairs, stair thinning interpolation algorithm is implemented to keep stairs from being enlarged. The experiment results show that this interpolation algorithm can significantly remove zigzagging artifacts in image zooming.

PP: 1123~1127
Abstract: In H.264 standard, it does not handle the rate control well. It uses quantization parameter both in rate control and rate-distortion optimization, resulting in the chicken-egg dilemma. This paper proposed a new rate control algorithm based on image complexity and the chicken-egg dilemma can be avoided in macro-block layer coding using the new algorithm. A new measurement of image complexity called mean absolute transform(MAT) is used together with peak signal-to-noise ratio(PSNR) as another image complexity measurement to estimate image complexity more objectively. Experiment results show that the novel rate control algorithm reduces bit rate by 0.03 kbps and increases PSNR of image by 0.197 dB.

PP: 1119~1122
Abstract: The measurement studies show that the burstiness of packet traffic in LAN as well as WAN is associated with self-similar and long-range dependency, and Hurst index is the key value of this model representing the statistics of traffic. Empirical mode decomposition(EMD) algorithm is a new method of estimating Hurst index of self-similar processes. The algorithm, different from the wavelet algorithm which is widely used, has high adaptability and can be decomposed to a set of intrinsic mode functions(IMF) with appointed residues error. This paper introduces a Hurst index estimator designed and implemented based on MATLAB using the object-oriented GUIDE simulation system. The system, based on the empirical mode decomposition algorithm, supports several format of data for import and export. It can also estimate the Hurst index of self-similar network traffic by given blocks and provides a friendly interface.
