Authors: ZHANG Xuewei, SONG Wei, XING Jianchun
PP: 417-427
Abstract: The development of service composition and cloud computing has increased the attention on service-based data-aware processes. The consistency measurement between increasing variants of data-aware processes is significant to the detection of differences and integration of variants. Then, an approach is provided to quantitatively measure consistency of data-aware processes. This approach is based on three constraint relations between activities (partial order, mutual-exclusion and independence) and the weight of probability of activity occurrence in event logs. It can analyze consistency of data-aware processes from the two aspects of dynamic and static. A proof-on-concept tool is implemented to automatically calculate consistency of business process execution language (BPEL) processes based on event logs. Case study verifies feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach. Hence, the approach can well solve the problem of consistency measurement of data-aware processes.

PP: 405-410
Abstract: Aiming at the currently lacking the endurance of embedded equipment, the author proposed a software power management scheme for the MPC8280 embedded target board and VxWorks operating system based on time sequence optimization, which enhanced the electrical energy use efficiency and provided new ideas for prediction algorithm in embedded collar domain research. The power management scheme divided the MPC8280 target board into the board support package (BSP) module, the drive module and the prediction module, and completed the data exchange between the modules through the flash storage device. The prediction algorithm used a combination of time series prediction and application control strategy, which optimized the traditional algorithm for large data processing. Experimental results showed that the realization of the power management scheme could large lifting equipment life time. At the same time, the power management system had less invasive and high portability, which could help other scholars to study further on the basis of this research.

Authors: CHEN Jingqiu
PP: 383-388
Abstract: In this paper, the consistency of the pairwise comparison matrices in analytic hierarchy process (AHP) was statistically studied. It is shown that the consistency of the pairwise comparison matrices has only very small probability, or even almost zero probability. Based on the comparison matrix samples calculated from the Saaty array of randomly selected elements, the density function of consistency of these matrices were given. These curves all show very chaotic and very strong fluctuation.

PP: 364-371
Abstract: Using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method, the test time and cost can be effectively shortened to research the characteristics of the controlled objects. In this work, taking FLUENT 6.3 software as a platform, a single neuron PI control function is compiled by user-defined function (UDF) for the nonlinear hot and cold water mixture. A closed-loop control of temperature within the system is achieved by the simulation. The simulation results show that, compared with conventional PI control algorithm, the dynamic performance and steady-state accuracy are improved by adopting the single neuron PI control algorithm.

PP: 357-363
Abstract: It is hard to measure the biomass on-line in nosiheptide fermentation process, which brings difficulties to control and optimization of this process. Aiming at this problem, soft sensor technique was applied to fulfil the on-line estimation of biomass, and an input-variable weighted modeling method was proposed. Based on the unstructured model of nosiheptide fermentation process, the input variables were selected according to the implicit function existence theorem. Next, a soft-sensor model representing the functional relationship between the input variables and biomass was developed using artificial neural networks, where the weight of each input variable as well as the weights and thresholds of the corresponding neural network were determined simultaneously by the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm. Experimental study was also carried out based on the practical production data from a lab-scale nosiheptide fermentation process. The testing results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Title: Dynamic joint scheduling algorithm of eICIC and carrier aggregation in LTE-A HetNet
Authors: XUE Mei, ZOU Suling, ZHAO Xinsheng
PP: 349-356
Abstract: In this paper, we proposed a joint dynamic scheduling algorithm of enhanced intercell interference coordination (eICIC) and carrier aggregation in LTE-A heterogeneous network (HetNet). Firstly, the algorithm adds a guarantee factor for real time (RT) traffic and an equity factor for non-RT traffic based on the M-LWDF algorithm. Secondly, in the initial carrier allocation, the carrier with the smallest aggregation head of line (HOL) delay is allocated to the user. In the scheduling process, empty carrier is allocated according to the principle of giving priority to edge user. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm improves the edge user throughput, the fairness of the system and cell spectral efficiency. Compared to the Traditional algorithm, the average edge user throughput and the system fairness index have increased by 25% and 33%, respectively.

PP: 339-348
Abstract: To solve the problem of too early handover, too late handover and ping-pong handover caused by the fast fading of the received signal in the LTE-A heterogeneous network (HetNet) system, this paper proposed a handover scheme based on mobility prediction. The proposed scheme chooses the effective prediction algorithm based on the user’s mobility rule in two different mobile scenarios, selects the target cells and reserves the resources for the handover process of the user in advance. Simulation results show that the accuracy rate of two mobile scenarios’ mobility prediction algorithm is 98%. Compared to the traditional LTE-A handover scheme which selects the target cell based on the A3 event, the proposed handover scheme can improve the handover performance of LTE-A HetNet system, with the handover delay being reduced by 30 ms or 60 ms, the total handover frequency is decreased by 4.35%, and the handover failure rate is reduced by 7.44%.

PP: 332-338
Abstract: There are several conventional interference suppression techniques on the system level of long term evolution (LTE) uplink architecture. However, the implementation of them are relatively complex, as they require corporation between adjacent cells. In this paper, interference suppression technique on link level is studied and a pilot-aided interference suppression algorithm is presented. The new method requires neither mutual collaboration between cells, nor the change in structure of the receiver. Simulation results show the superiority of the proposed algorithm in jamming environment. Theoretical analysis on the performance improvement and the impact of different algorithm granularity are also discussed.

PP: 318-325
Abstract: Resource allocation for multiuser multiple input multiple output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) systems is an important issue to improve overall system performance. This paper investigates the subcarrier and power allocation to minimize the average bit error rate (BER) subject to a total power constraint. A unified optimal algorithm and suboptimal algorithm with low complexity are proposed for the zero forcing (ZF) and successive interference cancellation (SIC) detector. Simulation results show that the proposed suboptimal algorithm can achieve a better BER performance than the conventional algorithms that are known in the literature.
