PP: 1971-1978
Abstract: In view of the current status of urban road lighting analysis and common problems, a urban street network control method was put forward and city street light network control gateway was developed according to the municipal requirements. The gateway uses STM32 as the core processor, through the network of GPRS and ZigBee, to transmit the street lamp remote real-time data to the control center. Street lamp ad-hoc network intelligent control part is mainly studied. At the same time, we give the corresponding solutions to the key problems in the development process. The street light running status real-time monitoring, time control to turn off the lights, street lights fault status automatically reporting, equipment remote upgrading as well as SMS alarm are realized, which solve the traditional street lamp control problems such as single level and that street lamp faultcan not be found in time.

Abstract: At present, domestic landfill leakage detection system is lack of membrane electrode necessary protective measures and not good to eliminate polarization noise and electrical noise. To solve the above problems, we design the electrode protection unit and the power control unit, which are based on the leakage detection system of regionalization of optional reference electrode. The system has a higher location accuracy, better noise resisting ability and longer life, thus solving the above problems.

Authors: HUANG Zhiyu, XIONG Zhangliang
PP: 1934-1942
Abstract: The development cycle of traditional automotive electronics software is long, the possibility of recycling is low and the portability is very difficult, which makes it unable to meet the current rapid development of automotive electronics. To solve these problems, the new approach based on automotive open system architecture (AUTOSAR) was applied to research and design the electronic control unit (ECU) software for permanent magnet synchronous motor. It mainly completed the design of the application layer software components, runnable entities, the algorithms library layer and basic software layer in the development of control software. Bench experiment results show that the motor ECU control software implemented the basic control function of the motor started, accelerated and decelerated according to the standard of AUTOSAR. It lays a good foundation for the development, transplantation and function expansion on different platforms for auto ECU control software.

PP: 1924-1933
Abstract: A two-shaft Gyro stabilized pod control system is designed on a helium balloon, based on the movement characteristics that the helium balloon has a small pitch and roll amplitude. A proper mathematic model is established to describe the system. Through a comparative analysis, the main factor affected the accuracy of line of sight stabilization control system is friction torque. After tuning some important parameters through system identification, we do an in-depth analysis about how the friction torque affects the stabilization precision. Theory suggests that, without considering other factors, the integral coefficient is inversely proportional to the deviation angle which represents stabilization precision. We realize a compensated acceleration by adding a differential term with a finite impulse responsec (FIR) filter, namely incomplete differential, by which the integral coefficient is improved as the same as the stabilization precision. Through the simulation of Simulink and experimental validation, using incomplete differential PID control, compared with PI control, stabilization precision can be improved by 50%.

Title: Spiking cortical model for feature binding
Authors: ZHAN Kun, TENG Jicai, WANG Mingying, ZHOU Haole
PP: 1917-1923
Abstract: In order to achieve the basic features images, a feature binding method is proposed based on the time matrix of the spiking cortical model. It is found that the matrix can be expressed as a complete representation of the original image information. A natural image can be represented by the time matrix, which is obtained from the series spiking images and their iterative times. The series spiking images represent the edges and segments of the original image, and the iterative times represent the gray scale of the image. In this paper, the geometric information and the gray scale information of the image are integrated for binding features, and the separation features of the image are represented together. We conduct several experiments which demonstrate that spiking cortical model can provide a method for binding features such as segments, edges and intensity of the image.

Title: Description of RMB exchange rate using autocorrelation function model of Cauchy type
Authors: LI Yuanchun,LI Ming
PP: 1910-1916
Abstract: Exchange rate is complex due to many factors such as monetary policies and balance of international payments. Autocorrelation function (ACF) can help to research exchange rate. Middle prices of RMB exchange rate against USD, HKD, and JPY from the year 1998 to 2014 were selected as research objects. The ACF curves of these three exchange rates were obtained and fitted by Cauchy-class process respectively, measured by mean square errors (MSE) between fitted curve and corresponding original curve. The results show that the ACP curves of RMB exchange rate decay slowly with characteristics of power law, and can be described satisfactorily by Cauchy-class process. Based on the results of curve fitting, Hurst parameters were obtained. The three Hurst parameters, all close to 1, which reveal that exchange rate has very strong long-range persistence and is hard to be analyzed and forecasted.

PP: 1906-1909
Abstract: This paper is started with the Chynoweth model of impact ionization integrals in the MEDICI simulator. In order to determine the relationship of ionization integrals and the reversed voltage applying to PN junction, i.e., Miller formula, curve fitting tool in Matlab is performed. An empirical Miller formula is obtained, which is more consistent with the simulation results by MEDICI. At the same time, an approximate formula about the relationship of doping concentration and the S parameter in Miller formula are proposed. The analysis on the results verifies the correctness of the simulation method.

PP: 1899-1905
Abstract: In order to solve the defects of the global search capability and easily falling into local optimum in the basic quantum particle swarm optimization (QPSO) algorithm, a modified quantum particle swarm optimization (MQPSO) algorithm is presented. By introducing mechanisms of convergence stagnation detection and selective introduction of random weights, the diversity of the population is increased and premature convergence of the algorithm is effectively avoided. The algorithm used in array synthesis can well reduce pattern sidelobe levels. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Title: A planar spiral antenna with improved axial ratio and shorted arm length
Authors: HUANG Huifen, WU Junfeng
PP: 1893-1898
Abstract: A new spiral antenna is proposed in this paper. The developed antenna has improved axial ratio and shorted arm length, compared with the traditional Archimedes spiral antenna. The developed spiral antenna combines the low frequency characteristic of power spiral antenna and high frequency characteristic of Archimedean spiral antenna. The growth rate of radial distance at large winding angle is closed to power spiral for improved axial rate in low frequencies, and the growth rate at small winding angle is closed to Archimedean spiral for good axial rate in high frequencies. The results reveal that the developed spiral antenna has noticeable improved axial rate at low frequencies compared with Archimedean spiral antenna, and the problem of axial rate degradation of power spiral antenna is also solved. The arm length is shorted by 46.2% compared to conventional Archimedean spiral antenna, and 63.5% compared to power spiral antenna.

Title: A risk evaluation mechanism based on fuzzy evaluation in wireless Mesh networks
Authors: YU Yao
PP: 1884-1892
Abstract: In this paper, we proposed a risk evaluation mechanism based on fuzzy evaluation, which can improve the routing performance under the attacks in wireless Mesh networks. In this mechanism, every node monitors its neighboring nodes to obtain information about their behavior and then evaluates their risk values by using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. A node achieves the final risk value of the target node by integrating the evaluation of the node itself and its neighboring nodes, which can ensure the comprehensiveness and accuracy of the evaluation results. The simulation results show that the mechanism can accurately evaluate the security state of nodes, secure the routing and get a better network performance.

Title: Improved design of DSRC receiver
Authors: YAN Hao, ZHANG Xin
PP: 1876-1883
Abstract: In this paper, we studied the dedicated short range communications (DSRC) receiver design. DSRC is a highly efficient wireless communication technology, mainly for V2V (vehicle to vehicle) and V2I (vehicle to infrastructure) communications. With road traffic safety issues growing as well as the huge demand for inter-vehicle communications-related services, we propose a new DSRC receiver scheme which combines two techniques which are decision feedback equalization and equal gain combining in frequency domain. Simulation results show that our receiver scheme can significantly improve DSRC physical layer performance without the modification of transmit protocol, so it can accelerate the promotion of DSRC in practice.

Title: Prediction approach of end-to-end traffic based on Markov model
Authors: JIANG Dingde, NIE Laisen, QIN Wenda
PP: 1866-1875
Abstract: For the prediction problem of end-to-end traffic in current communication networks, this paper studies the prediction method about end-to-end traffic, which is modeled as the Markov process to describe its temporal correlation and dynamic nature. The measurement samples about end-to-end traffic are used to build the transition probability matrix of the Markov model. After considering the constraints met by end-to-end traffic, end-to-end traffic is each predicted firstly. Then all of end-to-end traffic is attained. They are adjusted according to the constraints to obtain the final prediction. Simulation results show that the proposed prediction approach can accurately predict end-to-end traffic and capture its dynamic change, and in contrast to previous methods, it holds the better prediction performance and lower prediction errors and has a larger performance improvement.
