PP: 1671-1679
Abstract: This paper proposes an accurate accounting system combining bandwidth reserve with data volume, and provides practical applications in vector network with multiple data forwarding level. The system meets the high resolution requirement for account in next generation network, which simplifies the operation and reduces the cost. The total amount in this scheme will be divided into two parts to calculate: the amount related to bandwidth reserve and the amount related to data volume. Through the real-time detection of path rate, vector network accounting system reaches a higher resolution than the existing ones. Based on vector network, the principle and overall scheme of this accounting scheme are introduced, and the design and implementation scheme of end system accounting module are given, which is realized with Linux kernel module.

PP: 1657-1663
Abstract: In order to detect the fracture of the coal rock image, a method of combing multi-structure elements morphology with self-organizing map (SOM) neural network clustering is presented in this paper. Firstly, multi-structure elements morphology is used to detect the edges of the coal rock image, and then the feature parameters of edges are calculated as the inputs of SOM neural network. Finally, the fracture edges and the non-fracture edges are classified by the SOM neural network clustering algorithm, and the fracture edges of image are gained. Experimental results show that this new method can effectively detect and extract the fracture information of coal rock image.

Authors: XIA Yunni, WANG Weifeng
PP: 1645-1650
Abstract: In this work, we present a approach for modeling the semantic Web services described in the ontology Web language for services (OWL-S) language. This approach employs Petri net as the fundamental means of modeling compositional patterns of semantic-Web-based services and defines a set of translation rules to map OWL-S elements into equivalent Petri net representations. They formally capture the main aspect of service invocation sequence and the control flow of the service composition patterns built on semantic Web. A case study based on a real-world OWL-S example is also conducted to examine the effectiveness of our proposed framework.

PP: 1633-1638
Abstract: Based on analyzing the hierarchical routing protocol for wireless sensor networks (WSNs), this paper proposes a new algorithm to chose cluster to extend the lifetime of WSNs. The algorithm takes into account the residual energy of nodes and cost of communication between cluster heads and ordinary nodes. Simulation results show that compared with low energy adaptive clustering hierarchy (LEACH) protocol randomly selected cluster head, the algorithm extends the network lifetime approximately doubled.

Title: Mobile IPv6 protocol with soft inter-domain handover for LoWPAN
Authors: HU Zheng, ZHU Yihua
PP: 1626-1632
Abstract: In this paper, a mobile IPv6 protocol with soft inter-domain handover, which is suitable for low-power wireless personal area network (LoWPAN) is presented. The proposed protocol is able to overcome the drawback in the existing MIPv6 protocols, i.e., the communications between a mobile node (MN) and its correspondent node (CN) may be interrupted due to the fact that the MN’s on-line care-of address changes before correspondent registration process is completed when the handover between mobile anchor points (MAPs) occurs. In this paper, a new mobility option is introduced for mobility signalings so that MAPs can discover the existence of CNs and complete the correspondent registration in time, which enables soft handover between MAPs and reduces the failure probability of the communications between the CN and the MN.

Title: Load adaptation based on measuring passively
Authors: DAI Huichen, LI Yang, LU Jianyuan, TAI Dongzhe, LIU Bin
PP: 1604-1616
Abstract: This paper proposes an online traffic engineering method that balances the load among multiple paths according to the information (round trip time and link utilization) passively collected, i.e load adaptation based on measuring passively (LAMP). LAMP alleviates congestions by shifting the overspill traffic from over-utilized links to low-utilized links, and the transfer is based on the information collected in a passive manner, including data packet round trip time (RTT). However, it does not need to periodically probe the network or require excessive communications between routers, nor does it make any assumption on input traffic (traffic matrix) and network topology. Moreover, LAMP does not need support and can be implemented over existing routing protocols. Evaluation results show that LAMP can effectively reduce link utilizations, and meanwhile maintain favorable stability.

Abstract: Chen-Lai algorithm and Wang-Chen algorithm are two typical methods for anti-control continuous-time systems. Based on Chen-Lai algorithm and Wang-Chen algorithm, taking sine function as a typical example, the corresponding two extended forms of anti-control of discrete-time systems are then studied respectively. According to the definition of snap-back repeller and Marotto theorem, the more general and rigorous mathematical proofs of chaos existence are further given for these two extended forms.

Title: Energy efficiency optimization research for training-based MU-MIMO system
Authors: LI Shichao, QIU Ling
PP: 1579-1586
Abstract: This paper studies energy efficiency (EE) optimization in training-based multiuser multiple input multiple output (MU-MIMO) system and formulates an energy-efficient power optimization problem. Considering the channel state information at transmitter (CSIT) unavailable fact, this paper proposes a two-step optimization scheme which consists of the ergodic EE and instant EE optimization. In the ergodic EE optimization, this paper transforms the original problem into the optimization of the ergodic EE’s lower bound based on a derived tighter lower bound of the achievable rate. It is proved that this problem is jointly quasi-concave with respect to training power and data power, and then an alternating optimization algorithm is further proposed to solve it. In the instant EE optimization, the transmitter transmits the training with the power obtained in the ergodic EE optimization, which is used for channel estimation and result in imperfect channel state information. This paper predicts the instant EE and further proposes an instant EE optimiztion algorithm to optimize the data power. Simulation results show that our proposed two-step EE optimization algorithm can improve EE compared to the spectral-efficient scheme and the one-step scheme only with the ergodic EE optimization.
