The low-temperature sintering dielectrics were developed in complex perovskite Ba(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3 with Zn-B-O system. The dense Ba(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3 ceramics were obtained at the sintering temperature 950oC with Zn3B2O6-ZnB2O4 crystalline oxides or Zn-B-O glass including 10mol%ZnO and 5mol%B2O3. The dense Ba(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3 ceramics with 10mol%ZnO-10mol%H3BO3 or 10mol%H3BO3 can be obtained at sintering temperature 1075oC. The reaction between sintering aids and Ba(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3 was investigated by the XRD analysis. The results shows the melting behavior and the disappearance of Ba(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3 when mixing 20mol%(Zn3B2O6-ZnB2O4) with 80mol%Ba(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3 heating at 880oC. The formation of the liquid phase in the Ba-Zn-B-O system contributes to the low sintering Ba(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3 ceramics with Zn3B2O6-ZnB2O4. The dielectric properties of Ba(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3 with the Zn-B-O system are also discussed.
