The exchange energy of Li2, Na2, K2, Rb2, Cs2 are investigated by the surface integral method. The energy of all these systems are generated by the same analytical formula with parameters depending only on the properties of the atomic ionization energy. The results are generally in good agreement with experiment and ab initio results.
