A vertical multilayer structured organic spin valve (OSV) La0.67Sr0.33MnO3 (LSMO)/Polyaniline (PANI)/Co has been prepared, wherein a novel π-conjugated organic semiconductor (OSEC)-PANI was used as spacer. The current-voltage (I-V) curves reveal that the I-V behaves nonlinearly at low bias (<3.3V) and linearly at high bias (>3.3V). The results show that the magnetic resistance(MR) is up to 54% at T=80K and current I=+0.1mA, and MR decreases non-monotonically with current and is non-symmetric with respect to the current polarity due to different spin injection mechanism of LSMO electrode and Co electrode. Moreover, it is found that the MR is a non-monotonic function of temperature at current I=IC, while it becomes monotonic at current I≠IC. The dramatic decrease of the MR is caused by the abrupt reduction of the surface spin polarization of LSMO electrode. The increase of the MR at I=IC at low temperature may be caused by the increasing of resistance of LSMO electrode, which overshadows the interface resistance of the device.
