This paper researched the problems of Visible Light Communication (VLC) in atmospheric channel. The ambience noise and channel attenuation in free-space VLC link was analysed. Based on theoretical analysis, we designed a new interconnected system for remote wireless local area networks (WLAN) through outdoor VLC links, including transceiver hardware circuit. The integrated circuit contains the data exchange circuit, LED driver circuit and photoelectric conversion circuit. The communication terminals in different networks using WIFI or 100Base-T Ethernet could access information of each other. The system could transmit a long distance without cable and the data rates is up to 100Mbps due to the fast Ethernet.
