Abstract:The Kalman filter operates recursively on streams of noisy input data to produce a statistically optimal estimate of the underlying system state. In this paper, we mainly derived a Proportional Integral Kalman filter(PI-Kalman filter), which is used to solve the inaccuracy of the regular Kalman filter caused by constant process disturbance in discrete-time systems. Besides, the PI-Kalman filter can be used to estimate the unknown constant process disturbance. In addition, this PI-Kalman filter was used in the simulation of a single tracking problem. The result shows that it perform better than the regular Kalman filter.

Abstract:The Active Contour Model is one of the mainstreams of medical image segmentation method. During the image segmentation method of the Active Contour Model, the iteration needs to calculate each pixel in the image, which leads to large amount of calculation and the slow segmentation speed, so could not reach the requirements of real-time clinical operation. In this paper, we take the simple and quick advantages of the Fast Marching to conduct the simulation experiment of optimization model on ITK platform finally. The analysis of experimental results: the optimization model can keep the smoothness of the boundary, make the common anatomical and topology structure in the medical images to process well, the complexity of the algorithm to reduce, and the robustness of the algorithm to improve. The research results also do a good bedding for the real-time clinical application of medical image segmentation algorithm.

Abstract:With the increasing popularity of Internet and new network applications, there has been a great concern on how to classify packets rapidly and accurately. In this paper we propose a Hash Multi-fields Packet Classification (HMPC) algorithm based on dimension decomposition. This algorithm maps the fields of the packet to the rule table through a single step, and then it combines the multi-fields mapping results via hash method. The HMPC algorithm can drastically improve space and time performance by adjusting the hash table structure design. The experimental results show that the space consumption of HMPC algorithm is 53% and 12% lower than Recursive Flow Classification (RFC) and Hierarchical Space Mapping (HSM) algorithms respectively, while maintaining a similar time performance with HSM.

Abstract:Now many kinds of sensors appear in all aspects of our real life. The data that these sensors got is collected by Internet of Things (IoT) system. However, the current IoT systems work for some specially appointed IoT resources and has no ability to extend itself. In this paper, a resource access framework based on OSGI is designed to make IoT system to support more resources by installing new protocols. And this framework has strong dynamic extendibility.

Abstract:With the development of information technology, more and more social resources haven been information. But managing resources platforms with resource semantic annotation is infrequent. LDAP (Lightweight directory access protocol) is applied widely for its simplicity and integrity. OWL (Ontology Web Language) is widely used in the definition of ontology following the continually maturation of semantic web. With, its lightweight property, REST is usually selected to develop business service. So based on LDAP and ontology modeling, this paper provides a approach to design and implement SRMP (Semantic Resource Management Platform), and opens the CRUD (create, 3retrieve, update, delete) operation of resources with restful style.

Abstract:Nowadays, Internet protocol only provides "best effort" data forwarding services. So, the existing publish/subscribe systems' data forwarding scheme which is based on traditional network has some inevitable problems, such as excessive delay, unreliable data forwarding service. Because of the reasons above, we use OpenFlow to redesign a publish/subscribe system's data forwarding scheme. We design a new forwarding scheme according to OpenFlow's match methods of flow tables. In addition, we propose a new network traffic management algorithm to make the system work more stably and efficiently. At last, we built the system on Open vSwtich platform and did some tests on system's packets' processing speed and traffic management algorithm's working conditions. The results showed that system works well.

Abstract:In this paper,a generalized variable-coefficient KdV equationwith the perturbed and external-force terms is investigated, whose similarity solution is presented by CK direct method, and N-solition solution is obtained by the bilinear method. In illustration of application of this model, two simulations of the internal solitary wave (ISW) are performed, which show high similarity to the SAR image.Furthermore, separate effects of coefficient functions and external-force term on waves are investigated.

Abstract:Our objective is to analyze EEG signals recorded with depth electrodes during seizures in patients with drug-resistant epilepsy. The Wiener-Granger Causality Index (WGCI) is an effective measure to detect causal relations of interdependence in EEG signals. In this paper, a generalized Akaike's Information Criterion (gAIC) algorithm is presented and incorporated in the WGCI to estimate the model orders which play an important role in such an approach. Experimental simulation results support the interesting performance of the proposed algorithm to characterize the information flow both in a linear stochastic system and in a physiology-based model.

Abstract:In this paper, we propose a 3D finger detecting and tracking algorithm (3dFDT) based on a sliding window for RGB-D sequences. Microsoft Kinect is utilized as a 3D depth camera, which provides RGB images and depth data simultaneously. However the depth data have large noises when the background is white. We are focusing on tracking the up or down movements of the fingertips in order to apply in some applications such as playing the piano on the table or "in the air". First, the skin statistical ellipse model is applied to detect the hand skin region, and the pseudo-contours are removed to get the interested hand region. Then, the region center is considered as the center of the palm. Next, the fingertips are located precisely using the convex defect detection based on the refined hand contours. Furthermore, the depth information is aligned to the fingertips in the RGB channels. Finally, the sliding window strategy is employed to stabilize the depth information due to large noises from the depth space especially when dealing with the white surface as backgrounds. The experimental results show that our proposed method is effective, and it can be applied in the real-time applications for non-contact interactions.
