Abstract:We propose an NLMDF-based adaptive algorithm, improved nonlinear multi-degree-of-freedom with critical damping (INLMDF-CD) algorithm. The underlying idea is to assimilate the adaptive modeling process of iteration for the optimal solution to a particle’s moving under the critical damping condition on the mean-square error (MSE) surface geometry, which is imagined to be located in the gravitational field. The new algorithm is derived by incorporating a damping force matrix in the particle movement differential equation to make all modals working under the critical damping condition. The simulation results show a faster rate of convergence for the new algorithm as compared with NLMDF algorithm with a colored noise input signal. | |||
