Abstract:Power line communication uses the power line of power system as a communication medium, so its convenience is unparalleled. Meanwhile, it is considered to be one of the best communication technologies in smart grid. This technology must be more and more widely used in the future. However, the whole network of PLC shares one channel, leading to shortage of channel resources. The time variation of PLC system also contributes to reduce channel utilization. In this paper, a hybrid channel allocation method based on PRIME will be proposed. It combines the strength of TDMA and CSMA/CA, which can significantly avoid collision, increase throughput and decrease transmission delay. It is emphasized on TDMA, and CSMA/CA is auxiliary. The idea of time-sharing transmission is used in the method. The results of simulation will show that the method is feasible and effective. The method is of great significance to improve overall performance of PLC. | |||

Abstract:With the increase in electrical equipment in More/All Electric Aircraft, 270V dc power supply system will be needed. One method for DC interruption is forced current zero (FCZ). Based on FCZ technology with transverse-magnetic-field contact, the spiral-type contacts are designed. Experiments of different current are carried with the diameters being 30 mm, 40mm and 50 mm, when the arcing surface materials are Cu-W80 alloy and Cu-Cr50 alloy respectively. It is indicated by the experiment results that breaking capacity of vacuum interrupter and vacuum arc appearance are closely related to the electrode diameter and material. For the same size of electrode diameter, the breaking capacity in Cu-Cr50 is better than that in Cu-W80. With the electrode diameter increasing, the breaking capacity is better in lager diameter vacuum interrupter.When the arcing time is longer than 1 ms, the intensive burning arc occurs and affects the breaking performance of spiral-type contacts. If the DC-arcing stage is prolonged, the total arcing energy increases, which leads to lower breaking capacity. | |||

Abstract:Electromagnetic loading in the metal structures will produce stress wave signal at the edge of the crack and this phenomenon can be used in nondestructive testing of metal defects. As the core of electromagnetic load, the output parameters of the exciting source, such as current frequency and amplitude, have a significant impact on loading effect. For the loading demand of the electromagnetic acoustic emission (EMAE), using the energy storage of the capacitor, the pulse high current which the EMAE needs can be achieved by capacitor discharging instantaneous. It designs the adjustable regulated power supply based on semi-bridge switching circuit principle. The parameter display and adjustment module can be achieved based on the single-chip system. Applying to the EMAE experiment, it can reach the expected target.????? | |||
