Abstract:Peer to Peer (P2P) systems become more and more popular and bring both opportunities and threats. In the issues of the research on Web Service in P2P environment, trust of Service becomes more and more significant due to the open and decentralizes nature of P2P. It is hard to evaluate the trustworthiness of participated peers and deal with the malicious peers’ behavior. This paper presents a mechanism of management of trust value of Web Service based on P2P network. With introduction of some new concept, the trust management provides anonymity, reliability and effectiveness and improved ability to distinguish some malicious behavior. | |||

Abstract:With the development and prevalence of the internet technology, the communication and information sharing between different enterprises and branches are becoming more and more popular. As a result, the integration of heterogeneous data sources is now one of the hottest focuses in the research domain and a variety of resolutions are carried out to deal with the problem. This paper surveys the popular methods and models applied in the data integration field. And after the discussion and compare of the related technologies, the paper designs a heterogeneous data integration system supporting transparent view access based on RMI and AOP technologies, which can largely enhance the efficiency and speed of the system. The result shows that the system can handle massive heterogeneous data integration transparently to the end-users in a real-time level. | |||

Abstract:This paper develops a new method for image interpolation by constructing fitting surfaces to discrete image data. Usually, the image data is obtained by area sampling which can reduce the accuracy of the interpolation. So the point sampling values must be computed first, then a polynomial surface patch is obtained by the Lagrange method to approximate the local original continuous image surface. The whole image surface is constructed by combining all the local region surfaces with weighted functions. The experiments for testing the efficiency of the new method show that the interpolated images produced by the new method have higher precision and better quality than normal method, such as bi-cubic, and have no loss of image brightness. | |||

Abstract:A new nonrigid registration algorithm is proposed in this paper, which applies Markov-Gibbs random fields model (MGRF) to the nonrigid registration field of medical images. The algorithm is constructed by integrating the nonrigid registration algorithm based on B-spline wavelet and the priori knowledge of the maximum likelihood (ML) and maximum a posteriori (MAP) estimation into a MGRF model. In the MGRF model, the reference and test images are the known conditions and B-spline wavelet is the basis function constructing the nonrigid deformation function. The coefficients of B-spline wavelet in the deformation function are the parameters to be evaluated. The algorithm leads to a better result of registration because the use of the priori knowledge. Various medical images are selected to verify the algorithm, which show that the algorithm proposed in this paper is superior to the nonrigid registration algorithm without the priori knowledge. | |||

Abstract:With the development of multimedia networking technologies and the popularity of mobile handheld devices, the requirements of receiving and watching multimedia on the handheld devices become stronger. However, due to the limited bandwidth of wireless networks and the capability of the handheld devices, the current streaming technologies cannot be used directly for transmitting multimedia for handheld devices in wireless environment. This paper suggests a multimedia adaptor for mobile handheld devices. The adaptor can adjust the media streaming to the handheld devices according to the user’s requirements and the capabilities of the devices, as well as the status of the wireless networks. Test results shows that the media adaptor can satisfy the user’s requirements and utilize the networks better. | |||

Abstract:With the fast development of World Wide Web, the quantity of web information is increasing in an unprecedented pace, a great many of which are generated dynamically from background databases, and can’t be indexed by traditional search engine, so we call them Deep Web. For the heterogeneous and dynamic features of Deep Web sources, classifying the Deep Web source by domain effectively is a significant precondition of Deep Web sources integration. In this paper, we consider the visible features of Deep Web and Maximum Entropy approach, and then on the basis of binary classification, we propose a new multivariate classification approach based on Maximum Entropy towards Deep Web sources. In addition, we propose a Feedback algorithm to improve the accuracy of classification. An experimental evaluation over real Web data shows that, our approach could provide an effective and general solution to the multivariate classification of Deep Web sources. | |||
