1. Fixed Points Theorems of Ordered Contractive Maps on Noncommutative Banach spaces
Ni fei,Jiang Lining | |||
Mathematics 03 April 2007
Show/Hide Abstract | Cite this paper︱Full-text: PDF (0 B)
Abstract:The paper introduces the concept of noncommutative Banach spaces and obtains several fixed point theorems for continuous or discontinuous ordered contractive maps in ordered noncommutative Banach spaces. A sufficient condition that the fixed point is unique is given.

Show/Hide Abstract | Cite this paper︱Full-text: PDF (0 B)
Abstract:In this note, we obtain a deep result on the annular bound of polynomial zeros, which extends the corresponding result in [11]. The extension will be illustrated through several examples.

Mathematics 23 October 2006
Show/Hide Abstract | Cite this paper︱Full-text: PDF (0 B)
Abstract:In this paper we study the comparison principle and long-time behavior of the solutions for a coupled system of semilinear periodic parabolic equations with discrete time delays and nonlocal boundary conditions. A new comparison principle is obtained for such a coupled system, which extends some existing results.

Show/Hide Abstract | Cite this paper︱Full-text: PDF (0 B)
Abstract:In the present paper, the essential spectrum of the Toeplitz operator with symbols in $H^{\\infty }+C$ on the finite complex connected domain in the complex plane is represented, and the index formula is obtained.

5. Multiple solution for Hamiltonian systems
Wu Wei | |||
Mathematics 17 May 2006
Show/Hide Abstract | Cite this paper︱Full-text: PDF (0 B)
Abstract:In this paper the author considered the existence of solutions of second-order Hamiltonian systems.I find some new existence results of nontrivial solutions for generalized asymptotically linear Hamiltonian systems. Some multiplicity results are established also. The methods used here were based on combining the Morse index and the critical group at an isolated critical point and the critical group at infinity. The main results are theorem 1,2,3.

6. Asymptotically abelian property of ultrapowers of finite factors
Jianan | |||
Mathematics 10 February 2006
Show/Hide Abstract | Cite this paper︱Full-text: PDF (0 B)
Abstract:In this paper, we shall discuss the asymptotically abelian property of ultrapowers of finite factors. We prove that the ultrapower $\mathcal{R}^{\alpha}$ and the central sequences $\mathcal{R}_{\alpha }$ has the asymptotically abelian property when the finite factor $\mathcal{R}$ has the asymptotically abelian property. Applying the result, we present some examples.

7. Controllability of Semilinear Evolution Inclusions with Nonlocal Conditions
Wang Weizhong,Fan Hongxia
Mathematics 05 February 2005
Show/Hide Abstract | Cite this paper︱Full-text: PDF (0 B)
Abstract:In this paper, the controllability of semilinear evolution inclusions with nonlocal conditions in Banach spaces is investigated when the multivalued map has nonconvex values. The approach used here is a fixed point theorem due to Covitz and Nadler for contraction multivalued maps.
