Show/Hide Abstract | Cite this paper︱Full-text: PDF (0 B)
Abstract:In this paper, we introduce a general composite implicit schemefor finding a common solution of a system of variational inequalities (SVI) anda generalized mixed equilibrium problem with the constraint of the hierarchicalfixed point problem (HFPP) for a strictly pseudocontractive mapping in a realHilbert space. The strong convergence theorem for such an implicit scheme isestablished under some suitable assumptions. The result is the extension andimprovement of some corresponding ones in the literature.

Abstract:In this article, we consider an unconstrained minimization reformulation of the generalized complementarity problem GCP(f, g) based on the generalized Fisher-Burmeister function. Starting with the continuously differentiable functions f and g, we show under certain conditions any stationary point of the unconstrained minimization problem is a solution to GCP .

Abstract:Recently, Hu, Huang and Chen, in the paper[Properties of a family of generalized NCP-functions and a derivative free algorithm for complementarity problems] introduced a family of generalized NCP-functions, which include many existing NCP-functions as special cases. They obtained several favorite properties of the functions; and by which, they showed that a derivative-free descent method is globally convergent under suitable assumptions. However, no result on convergent rate of the method was reported. In this paper, we further investigate some properties of this family of generalized NCP-functions. In particular, we show that, under suitable assumptions, the iterative sequence generated by the descent method discussed in their paper converges globally at a linear rate to a solution of the nonlinear complementarity problem.

Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to study the existence of strong solutions for the generalizedvector equilibrium problem (for short, GVEP) with a variable ordering relation in reflexive Banachspaces. The existence theorem of strong solutions of the GVEP for monotone multifunction isestablished by virtue of the KKM-Fan theorem. The result is the extension and improvement ofsome corresponding ones in the literature.

Abstract:We determine the unique graphs with minimum distance signless Laplacian spectral radius among bipartite graphs with given matching number, among graphs with given independent number and number of pendent vertices, among graphs with given number of odd vertices. We also determine the unique tree with second minimum distance signless Laplacian spectral radius among trees with all vertices being odd and the unique graph with minimum distance signless Laplacian spectral radius among unicyclic graphs with all vertices being odd.

Abstract: In this paper, we employ the image space analysis method to investigate vector quasi-equilibrium problems (for short, VQEP) with constrains. By using two weak separation functions and strong separation functions, we obtain some optimality conditions for weakly efficient solution and globally efficient solution to VQEP with constraints in the sense of image space analysis.

Abstract:This paper aims at investigating Lagrangian type optimality conditions in the context of constrained multi-objective optimization problems via Image Space Analysis. The equivalence between the existence of a regular (linear) separation in the Image Space and the existence of a saddle point for Lagrangian function is derived. Furthermore, we give some examples of regular separation functions, especially we use Gerstewitz function and augmented Lagrangian function to construct nonlinear separation functions.

Abstract:US-eigenpairs of complex symmetric tensor has received much attention because of its background of quantum entanglement. The problem of finding US-eigenpairs can be regard as an unconstraint nonlinear optimization problem in complex number field. Optimization methods of this kind of problem often need a first- or second-order derivative of the objective function. However, such methods cannot be applied to real valued functions of complex variables because they are not necessarily analytic in their argument. In this paper, we present a quasi-Newton method for computing US-eigenpairs of a complex symmetric tensor, where we take advantage of Wirtinger Calculus to get the gradient of a real valued function defined on complex domain. The global and super-linear convergence of the method is verified. The numerical examples show the feasibility of the proposed method.

Abstract:In this paper, we first present a new generalization concept of epiderivative for a set-valued mapping called envelope epiderivative. Subsequently, we study some of its properties. As an application, an unified necessary and sufficient optimality conditions for a set-valued optimization problem is derived in terms of the envelope epiderivative.

Abstract:This paper introduces the notion of generalized uniformly quasi-concavity which is a nature extension of the uniformly transfer quasi-concavity introduced by Bay, Tian and Zhou in [Bay M.R., Tian G., and Zhou J., Characterizations of the Existence of Equilibria in Games with Discontinuous and Non-Quasi-concave Payoffs. Review of Economic Studies 60, 935-948(1993)] to topological spaces, and give a characterization of dominant strategy equilibrium for non-cooperative games without any convexity (geometrical or abstract).
