	1. The 2p3/2 binding energy shift of Fe surface and Fe nanoparticles

	Abstract:Analysis of the 2p3/2 core-level shift of Fe surface and nanoparticles based on the bond order-length-strength (BOLS) correlation [Sun CQ, Prog Solid State Chem 35, 1 (2007)] has turned out that the Fe 2p3/2 energy shifts positively by 2.17 eV from the atomic value of 704.52 eV to the bulk of 706.69 eV and that a further 0.32 and 0.16 eV shift occurs, respectively, to the top and the second atomic layers. Consistency between theory and experiments clarifies the dominance of the broken-bond-induced local strain and quantum trapping in perturbing the Hamiltonian and hence the observed Fe 2p3/2 energy shifts.

	2. The Spinor Connection and its Dynamical Effects

	Abstract:The current formalisms of covariant derivatives for a spinor take compact forms, and the geometrical and dynamical effects of the spinor connection are covered under the abstract symbols. The practical calculations for the spinor connection in these formalisms are usually a tiresome and fallible task. In this paper, we divide the spinor connection into two vectors $\\Upsilon_\\mu$ and $\\Omega_\\mu$, where $\\Upsilon_\\mu$ is mainly related to the geometrical calculations, but $\\Omega_\\mu$ leads to gravimagnetic effects. The expression is valid for both the Weyl spinor and the Dirac bispinor, which is not only more convenient for calculation, but also highlights the physical meanings of the spinor connection. On this foundation, we derive the complete classical mechanics from the dynamical equation and get some interesting results. We find in the space-time with intrinsically nondiagonal metric, the orbit of a spinor deviates from the geodesic slightly, so the principle of equivalence is broken by the spinors moving at high speed.

	3. Mechanism of the particle interference

	Abstract:Interference produced by particles such as photons or electrons has been explained usually with wave description, because an attribute of spatially continuous distribution of wave is believed indispensable for the phenomenon. But the wave description is unusable to deliver any mechanism of the interaction between the incident particles and the electrons in the detector, whereas the interference phenomenon is definitely a display of this interaction. More seriously, the wave description makes the essence of microscopic particle unintelligible. Nevertheless, with the assumption that particles conjectured as material points possess spiral trajectory, it was proven that they are able to interfere not via wave description[1]. Here, we explore farther the mechanism of the interference and the multiple photon absorption in photo-electric effect, and present proposals for experimental verification.

	Abstract:We calculate the free energy of superconducting rings with two junction and superconducting ring array under different external magnetic fields, and give the phase branch diagram of the system within a range near the superconducting transition temperature. A theory of π junction and 0 junction is provided to explain the paramagnetic Meissner effect in both low Tc and high Tc superconductors.

	Abstract:A new dot-source model is offered. Based on the dot-source model, the formulas of maximum slow-delaying distance and the axial energy of antenna array are given. Within the experimental error, the digital result calculated by dot-source model is agreement with the experimental result and the result calculated by electromagnetic theory.

	Abstract:The optical emission spectroscopes of the hybrid nitrogen and trimethylgallium ECR plasma were investigated in this paper. The results show that TMG is strongly dissociated in ECR plasma at room temperature condition. It is desirable to set a higher N2: TMG ratio (N2: TMG > 10:1) to keep the Ga source and N source in balance to grow high quality GaN film.

	7. Inverse source model for nonparaxial diode lasers

	Abstract:Based on the off-axis theory and a far-field rigorous solution of the Helmholtz equation, by using the angular spectrum representation, the Fourier transform and the inverse Fourier transform, an inverse source model for nonparaxial diode lasers has been obtained. This model has a simple mathematical structure and can be easily used to solve the inverse source problem rigorously with the far-field measured data. So the accurate analytical solution to the source distribution can be obtained with the far-field intensity distribution, and then the parameters relating to the waveguide structure can be obtained.

	8. Photon-formed structure model for all matters

	Abstract:A theory of photon-formed matter structure is proposed in this letter. The main content of this model is to assume that all matters consist of photons. The mass of matter is just a kind of appearance of the mass of photons, which is inside the matter. Based on three new postulates, the behaviors of light and particle are well united. Also this photon-formed matter structure model can explain the mass energy-momentum relation, the relation between photon energy and its frequency and the De Broglie wavelength.

	9. Geometrical and Physical Interpretations of Electronic Harmonic Oscillations in Four Space Dimensions

	Abstract:Following a previous proposition of quaternity spacetime for electronic orbitals in neon shell, this paper describes the geometrical course each electron takes as it oscillates harmonically within a certain quaternity space dimension and provides the concrete connections between geometries and trigonometric wavefunctions that observe Pythagorean theorem. By integrating four quaternity space dimensions with conventional Cartesian coordinate systems in calculus, we explain electronic motions by the Maxwell equation and general Stokes theorem from the principles of rotation operation and space and time symmetry. Altogether with the previous reports, we have effectively established quaternity spacetime as a successful theory in elucidating the orbital shapes and motions of electrons within inert atoms such as helium and neon. We point out once again that 2px, 2py, and 2pz orbitals have different geometrical shapes as well as orthogonal orientations, contrary to the traditional 2p orbital model.
