Abstract:A reliable and efficient molecular dynamics program to simulate the low energy ion implantation is developed. The newest physical models are included and some efficient algorithms are used to conduct realistic and accurate simulations. By comparing the simulation results with the SIMS data for B, As and P, the program is verified. An atomistic model for annealing simulation is presented. The simulation is carried out for RTA annealing after B implantation. Agreements between simulation and SIMS data are achieved and both BED and TED phenomena are characterized. | |||

Abstract:According to the concept of phase matching bandwidth the band width of broadband source by using retracing behavior of collinear quasi-phase-matching (CQPM) optical parametric generator (OPG) in periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) is presented firstly. Comparing the various pump wavelengths we obtain the pumping condition and parameters of PPLN to realize the broadband source near 1550nm in the CQPM-OPG. In theory we present the optimum pump wavelength and the maximum ideal bandwidth range to be 940.75nm and 1475nm~1681nm respectively. The study of this issue would provide theoretical basis to realize the broadband source in the future. | |||

Abstract:It has been shown that some chaotic time series has cyclostationary characteristic. In this paper, this characteristic is exploited for applications to modeling and prediction of chaotic time series. To this aim, a vector-autoregressive-model-based model is developed. The model first transforms the scalar chaotic time series into a vector time series based on Wold’s isomorphism, and then uses the vector autoregressive model for modeling and prediction purposes. The application of the proposed model to simulated data from the periodically perturbed Logistic map is carried out and the results show that the model works well for modeling and long-term prediction in comparison with other models. | |||

Abstract:The noise-like chaotic signal can be generated with very simple nonlinear circuit, has very broad bandwidth and good correlation properties. These characteristics have drawn considerable attentions in radar community. Much research has been devoted its applicability to radar. In the past, the chaotic signal serves only for a transmit signal and the traditional correlation-type receiver is used for processing. In this sense, the chaotic signal is acting as a radar waveform in the noise signal radar and hence its performance advantage is not distinct. Here we present a scheme for processing chaotic radar signal. We find a simple relation between the target parameters (range and velocity) and the system parameters of chaos-generating system. With this relation, the measurement of the target parameters is transformed into estimation of the system parameters from the radar return signals. Equipped with high-resolution parameter estimation techniques, the proposed principles provide a way to develop high-resolution noise signal radar. | |||

Abstract:The original concept of Cantor sets to analysis unimodal signal stem from the chemistry ,the data which use the instrument of chromatogram to measure are always unimodal and asymmetry. Whether can use Cantor sets to analysis signal so that I make try. Cantor functions stems from the convince of separate form ,but Cantor sets is a perfect uncounted and self-symmetric set , so that we can use Cantor sets to research problems such as the symmetry of signal. In the certain range, comparing the result of Cantor’s function using limited dot to compute biased coefficient with using the method of third order accumulation to compute the signal’s biased coefficient ,we find that both the equispaced Cantor sampling functions and discrete Cantor sampling functions can describe the symmetry sketch. Furthermore , when we choose some unimodal signals for example , the conclusion is that when period come bigger, using Cantor functions to describe symmetric resolution are better than the method of third order accumulation. | |||

Abstract:A low-power dissipation keyboard in wireless terminals, based on A/D converter method, is practiced in this paper. Most wireless terminals based on microcontroller have an on-board small keyboard and various switches, using a large number of microcontroller I/O pins then leaving small number of pins available for other uses. The designed keyboard employs only single I/O pins and saves the power dissipation effectively. The power dissipation behaviors of two keyboards, one is based on scanning method and another on A/D converter method, was compared and analyzed.
