Abstract:This paper presents a novel power/ground planes for suppressing the ground bounce noise (GBN) by utilizing a two-dimensional photonic bandgap (PBG) structures. The proposed PBG structure adopts spiral-shaped defects on power plane of power/ground planes. Due to the spiral-shaped defects, the equivalents shunt inductance varies in wide range. The proposed structure behaves high performance of suppressing GBN within a very broadband frequency range from 0.5 GHz to 5GHz.

Abstract:he next generation networks will be an all IPv6 based network and composed of diverse wired and wireless radio access technologies. The signals received by mobile terminals may come from different networks. How to select the best network suitable to current traffic is the key issue of guaranteeing the service of quality in heterogeneous networks. The traditional single-hop access method used in 3G/2.5G cellular network will inevitably cause the base station as a communication bottleneck. MANET utilizes the dynamic multi-hop routing method. Mobile nodes in ad hoc network are also as routers, which increase the power consuming of mobile nodes. An adaptive multi-hop access routing protocol is newly presented in this paper. It combines the single hop character used in conversional cellular networks with the self-organization in ad hoc networks. When quality of service of the network access points cannot satisfy the service demands, the mobile terminals can transfer packets with the hel

Abstract:his paper presents a parallel dynamic passive valveless micropump, which consists of three layers—valve, diaphragm and electromagnetic coil. The valve is wetly etched in a silicon wafer, the diaphragm is a PDMS (polydimethyl siloxane) film spun on a silicon wafer with embedded permanent magnet posts, and the coil is electroplated on a silicon substrate. Under the actuation of the magnetic field of the coil, the flexible diaphragm can be displaced upwards and downwards. After analyzing magnetic and mechanical characteristic of the flexible membrane and direction-dependence of the nozzle, this paper designed a micropump. And the relative length (L/d) of the micropump’s nozzle is 4.An 7×7 array of permanent magnetic posts is embedded in the PDMS film. The two diaphragms work in an anti-step mode, which can relieve the liquid shock and increase the discharge of the micropump. ANSYS○R and Matlab○R are adopted to analyze the actuation effect of the coil and the flow characteristic of the mi

Abstract:A nonlinear self-consistent simulation code is employed to investigate the behavior of the outer-slotted-coaxial waveguide gyrotron traveling-wave amplifier (gyro-TWA). The influences of the velocity pitch, frequency and input power of the electron beam on efficiency, output power and saturated gain are simulated and discussed in detail. It is predicted that this design with 95GHz, TE3,1 will yield a peak output power of 264.3KW, a peak efficiency of 33.7% and saturated gain of 44.2dB.
