Abstract:An adaptive watermarking algorithm in the wavelet domain based on multi-scale morphological gradient is proposed in this paper. Using multi-scale morphological gradient, the distribution and the strength of the sub-block texture after the wavelet package decomposition are analyzed, and the textures of sub-blocks are sorted. According to the texture feature of the sub-block, the sub-block threshold is determined adaptively and the position which is bigger than its threshold is selected as the important coefficient position where the watermarking is embedded. Then, the strength of the position is modulated adaptively through Noise Visibility Function (NVF), which is the best strength to ensure good visual effect of masking to achieve the best effect between robustness and imperceptibility. A large amount of experiments show that the proposed algorithm is effective and robust to common image processing operations.

Abstract:A new nonrigid registration algorithm is proposed in this paper, which applies Markov-Gibbs random fields model (MGRF) to the nonrigid registration field of medical images. The algorithm is constructed by integrating the nonrigid registration algorithm based on B-spline wavelet and the priori knowledge of the maximum likelihood (ML) and maximum a posteriori (MAP) estimation into a MGRF model. In the MGRF model, the reference and test images are the known conditions and B-spline wavelet is the basis function constructing the nonrigid deformation function. The coefficients of B-spline wavelet in the deformation function are the parameters to be evaluated. The algorithm leads to a better result of registration because the use of the priori knowledge. Various medical images are selected to verify the algorithm, which show that the algorithm proposed in this paper is superior to the nonrigid registration algorithm without the priori knowledge.

Abstract:Photo Mosaic is an exciting art form made from thousands of small pictures, placed in patterns like original mosaics made from colored cells, but each cell is an actual photo. This application is a little program for to create mosaic made with photos with two different algorithms, one is Mean-Variance and another one is Cauchy-Schwarz Inequality.

Abstract:Characteristics of tongue pose the most important information for Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis. So far, extensive studies have been made on extracting tongue surface features, but rarely refer to sublingual vein that is also diagnostically important. This paper focuses on establishing a feature quantization framework for the inspection of sublingual veins, composed of two parts: the segmentation of sublingual veins and the feature quantization of them. Adaptive sublingual vein segmentation algorithm and pixel-based sublingual vein segmentation algorithm for sublingual images with low contrast and visible contrast are proposed respectively. The experiments prove that the proposed methods perform well on the segmentation of sublingual images with both low contrast and visible contrast between sublingual veins and tongue proper. And then, a chromatic system in conformity with diagnostic standard of Traditional Chinese Medicine doctors is established to describe the chromatic feature of sublingual veins. Experimental results show that the distance and chromatic features quantized by the proposed framework are properly consistent with the diagnostic standard summarized by TCM doctors.

Abstract:The Sublingual Vein Diagnosis, one part of Tongue Diagnosis, plays an important role in deciding the healthy condition of humans. So far, extensive studies have been made on extracting tongue surface features, but rarely refer to sublingual vein that is also diagnostically important. This paper presents two approaches to segment the sublingual veins taking the color features of sublingual images into consideration. Experimental results show that, sublingual vein structures can been successfully mapped for 129 out of 150 patients and healthy subjects, when utilizing u component and S component for segmentation, and the average segmentation rate is up to 86%.

Abstract:Two methods can be used to measure water level. One is creating a water-level measuring post, then read it by human each time. Another one is using sensor to derive the analog water level, then transform it to digital value. There are many different sensors for water level measuring, such as float model, pressure model, supersonic model, etc. This paper provides a method that derives the image of water level by camera firstly, then by employing the methodology of image preprocessing, we can get the number of the calibrations above the water, in the end conduct the water level value. Using this method, the devices are easily to install, can save cost, and has high precision, so it is suitable to apply in irrigation district.

Abstract:In this paper, a wireless multi-node multimedia service based on simplified IP protocol is designed, and the realization scheme and main module design method are discussed. The system based on video compression with TMS3C6211 (DSP) is centrally controlled through S3C4210 (ARM), and has a wireless communication on the public frequency 2.4 GHz by means of nRF2401 wireless chip. The system could be applied widely in safety insurance, storage, education and other fields.
