Abstract:The effects of alternating magnetic 痚ld on the bipartite entanglement in an opened Ising chain are studied. Entropy is used to evaluate bipartite entanglement in the system. All-values entropy decreases with the strength of alternating 痚ld increases. The method of density matrix renormalization-group is applied to obtain logarithmic behavior of entropy. It is found that the logarithmic behavior with a central charge c does not vary with the length of the subsystem.

Abstract:The spectra of the 133Cs 6P3/2 - 8S1/2 transition have been demonstrated by using both of the double resonance optical pumping (DROP) and the optical-optical double resonance (OODR) techniques. Compared with the OODR technique, the DROP spectra show much better signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and narrow spectral linewidth. When the frequency of a 795nm external-cavity diode laser (ECDL) is stabilized to the DROP spectrum of 133Cs 6P3/2 F’ = 5 - 8S1/2 F’’ = 4 transition, the lowest square root of the Allan variance of 4.1x10-12 at an averaging time of 100s was obtained.

3. Attack-induced entanglement of noninteracting Fermi gas

Show/Hide Abstract | Cite this paper︱Full-text: PDF (0 B)
Abstract:The bipartite entanglement in Fermi gas without interaction is investigated when there are three fermions in the system. The negativity and the von Neumann entropy are employed to measure the entanglement of the system. The position of the third fermion can affect the entanglement between the first and the second fermions. The entanglement can be enhanced or suppressed when the third fermion changes its position. When the two fermions are at the same position or when their distance is more than 2.0/k_F, the third fermion can not affect them.

Abstract:The teleportation via the channel of the thermal equilibrium states in anisotropic Heisenberg XYZ chains is analyzed. It is found that there are the critical temperatures below which entanglement teleportation can be realized. Entanglement teleportation is enhanced through anisotropic XYZ chains in contrast to the isotropic Heisenberg one. Anisotropic spin exchanges can increase these critical temperatures for the teleportation. Entanglement can be transferred in the ferromagnetic anisotropic Heisenberg chain while it cannot be done in the ferromagnetic isotropic one. The average fidelity of the teleportation can be improved in the antiferromagnetic chains.

Abstract:The zero-temperature pairwise entanglement is investigated in the antiferromagnetic Heisenberg chain with one impure spin s. The impurity location is varied from the open end to a mediate site of the spin chain. It is found that the pairwise entanglement is proportional to 1/s. This means that the entanglement will disappear in the classical systems as s → ∞. Compared to the isotropic Heisenberg chain without impurity, the efficient control of the spin coupling between the impurity spin and nearest-neighbor spins can enhance the pairwise entanglement.

6. Swap Action in a Solid-State Controllable Anisotropic Heisenberg Model

Abstract:Correct swap action can be realized via the control of the anisotropic Heisenberg interaction in solid-state quantum systems. The conditions of performing a swap are derived by the dynamics of arbitrary bipartite pure state. It is found that swap errors can be eliminated in the presence of symmetric anisotropy. In realistic quantum computers with unavoidable fluctuations, the gate fidelity of swap action is estimated. The protocol of quantum computation via the anisotropic Heisenberg interaction is implemented in the 1D quantum dots. In this scheme, the slanting and time independent magnetic field can be used to adjust the anisotropy.

Abstract:We investigate the effect of Dresselhaus spin-orbit coupling (SOC) on the spin-transport properties of the ferromagnet (FM)/semiconductor (SM)/ferromagnet (FM) double-barrier structures. Due to the thin oxide layers at the interfaces between the FM and the SM, caused by experimental preparation technique, the thickness of the insulator (IN) between the FM and the SM should be considered theoretically. Using a transfer-matrix method, we calculate the transmission, polarization and tunneling magnetoresistance (TMR) of the structure. Our results indicate that (i) the polarization can be enhanced by reducing the IN layers at zero temperature and (ii) the TMR inversion observed experimentally can be illustrated by the influence of the Dresselhaus SOC effect. The theoretical results explain qualitatively the polarization and the TMR characteristics revealed in the experiment. Taking into account the Dresselhaus SOC effect, the TMR inversion occurs when the energy of a localized state in the barrier matches the Fermi energy of the ferromagnetic electrodes.

Abstract:In this paper we study the heterogeneous multiagent complex systems base on the minority game and evolutionary minority game in stock markets. In this model, not only the number of the agents change, but also the amount invested of every agent at every time step change too. Under the underlying idea, we find they are disciplinary that distributions of the survival probability with risk coefficient or action preference, and distribution of the total assets with risk coefficient by the simulation

Abstract:This article presents a magnetic dynamics description for current-induced STT in PSV, which could illuminate that the effects of SWE and CIMS in magnetic multiplayer nanostructures. The spin current polarization is determined by the continuity boundary condition of spin current and chemical potential under the case of conduction matching. The roles of longitudinal and transverse components of STT are different in magnetic multiplayer that longitudinal one generates CIMS effect, while transverse one is necessary for SWE effect. From the theory, the double spin wave modes have been naturally obtained by LLG equation, which are x mode and y mode, respectively, due to the transverse STT, and cause resistance of magnetic multiplayer altering following time with frequency 2w or w(precession frequency). Magnetic field and spin current control frequency and power of SWE according to this theory, which predicts a special device structure, for example, the perpendicular configuration, should present much higher efficiency of SWE that has been demonstrated by some experiment results.

Abstract:The problem of phase change about ice and water was solved in the structured meshes by using moving heat source method, which is a representative of many industrial processes. The temperature field was also studied by discrete source term. The single and bilateral region problems were given to demonstrate the correctness of this method; the results are agreement when the numerical solution was compared with the exact solution. These demonstrate feasibility of the numerical calculation fully, as well as its application in industry to provide useful information.
