Abstract:Cognitive radio is one of the primary technology to solve the underutilization problem of the spectrum, in recent time, The State Commission has put up a new wireless system in LTE 230 spectrum. In this paper, we consider an amplify-and-forward relay-based cooperative spectrum sensing using a double threshold energy detector. Each second cognitive user takes a local decision on spectrum occupancy based on two energy detection thresholds, which is according to the channel fading. Cooperative probability of detection, probability of missed detection and probability of false alarm are derived theoretically. Simulation results show that the propose method makes an improvement in spectrum sensing.

Abstract:This paper introduces a new reliable transport protocol, called Coded Cubic, which combines network coding with Cubic TCP, with retransmission schedule and mechanism of congestion control adjusted appropriately. According to the characteristics of Coded Cubic, redundancy parameter adjustment mechanism is proposed to adapt to the changing environment. Coded Cubic were implemented in Linux kernel with small changes in the existing implementation of standard TCP and tested in real environment, the test results show that Coded Cubic has a great performance improvement compared with standard Cubic in lossy wireless network, besides, Coded Cubic is friendly with standard TCP and has good fairness between Coded Cubic flows.

Abstract:Target maneuver parameter estimation during the endgame is significant for interception performance improvement. It is feasible to use Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) profiles to estimate the maneuver parameters. An imaging model in interception is first formulated. The principle of maneuver discrimination using the ISAR images is then fully explored. A novel and practical parameter estimator is developed with a rigorous analysis of the scenario characteristics. Finally, a simulation environment with software tools capable of generating target realistic ISAR images is developed. The simulation results confirm the rationality of the design procedure and demonstrate that the proposed estimator performs better than the classical innovation-based maneuver estimator .

Abstract:The transmit power and half power semi-angle (HPSA) of LEDs as well as receiver's field of view (FOV) affect the performance of indoor visible light communication systems. In this paper, a novel linear programming (LP) method is proposed to optimize transmit power of LEDs. System performance with different HPSA and FOV is also investigated. Simulation results show that a significant improvement of illumination and communication quality as well as a remarkable reduction of power consumption is achieved after the proposed LP optimization. What's more, the influence of various HPSA and FOV on VLC system is found to be double-sided.

Abstract:This paper addresses the high efficiency of improved Extended Kalman Filter(EKF) to make the signal mixed with noise more accurate and significant. Navigation system aims to provide real-time information of positions, velocities, attitude-angles, however, because of perturbations existing in the envirionment and in the process so that the useful signal is covered to some extent. Anyway, kalman filtering algorithm can effectively restrain the performance deterioration. In order to reduce computation, two optimized methods are explicitly presented: system deposition which deposits a 11×11 system matrix into a 5×5 and a 6×6 matrix ignoring the slight coupling relation and improved algorithm of matrix inversion that sufficiently avoids the singular situation. Aforementioned methods are implemented on arm7 system containing a simple constructure but a constrained storage, so optimation is significantly essential. A simulation by MATLAB is also presented which illustrates the perfect performance by using extended kalman filter..

Abstract:Cloud computing is a computing paradigm which can provide data storage and computing resources. But security and privacy issues have risen for its adoption. This paper presents an efficient, flexible, and fine-grained scheme at the scenario of the ciphertext-policy attribute-based encryption (CP-ABE). This proposed scheme not only reduces the length of secret keys and ciphertexts, but also ensures the security of backward and forward secrecy by adding the replacement of the random parameters in attribute adjunction/revocation process. Therefore, the efficiency of key generation, encryption, and decryption in our scheme is higher than the existed CP-ABE scheme's. As more and more businesses will be moved into the cloud, the paper presents a data sharing system based on the proposed scheme, along with the security analysis and preliminary efficiency analysis about the proposed scheme.

Abstract:Accurate analysis for electromagnetic (EM) problems including inhomogeneous or anisotropic structures requires solving volume integral equations (VIEs) in the integral equation approach. When the structures are electrically large in dimensions or constitutively complicated in materials, fast numerical algorithms are desirable to accelerate the solution process. Traditionally, such fast solvers are developed based on the method of moments (MoM) with the divergence-conforming Schaubert-Wilton-Glisson (SWG) basis function or curl-conforming edge basis function, but the basis functions may not be appropriate to represent unknown functions in anisotropic media. In this work, we replace the MoM with the Nystr"{o}m method and develop the corresponding multilevel fast multipole algorithm (MLFMA) for solving large anisotropic problems. The Nystr"{o}m method characterizes the unknown functions at discrete quadrature points with directional components and more degrees of freedoms and it also allows the use of JM-formulation which does not explicitly include material property in the integral kernels in the VIEs. These features with its other well-known merits can greatly facilitate the implementation of MLFMA for anisotropic structures. Typical numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the algorithm and good results have been observed.

Abstract:In wireless sensor node localization, distance measurements areoften supposed to be polluted by Gaussian noise. Throughexperiments on a practical wireless sensor network (WSN) in whichsensor nodes use received signal strength indicator (RSSI) modulesto measure distances, we show that the uncertainty of distancemeasurements can be approximated as the combination of small denseGaussian noise and large sparse errors. To handle this mixed noiseand improve the localization accuracy, we propose a novel errorcorrection algorithm for the wireless sensor node localizationproblem based on the sparse prior of large errors as well as thetechnique of semidefinite programming (SDP) relaxation. Simulationresults demonstrate that the proposed algorithm works well underthe existence of the mixed noise and outperforms several existingalgorithms.

Abstract:In the node localization problem of wireless sensor networks(WSNs), distance measurements are often corrupted by large errorswhich will lead to inaccurate position estimates withoutcorrection. To address this issue, we propose a scheme of jointnode localization and error correction from distance measurements ofWSNs. The enabling fact is that only a small number of distancemeasurements are subject to large errors in general. Such extit{sparsity} motivates us to propose an $ell_1$ regularizednonlinear least squares model, where the $ell_1$ regularizationterm promotes the sparsity of large errors and the nonlinear leastsquares term reflects the fidelity of distance measurements. Thisnonconvex model is further relaxed to a second-order coneprogramming (SOCP) problem, which is convex and tractable.Extensive simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of theproposed approach.

Abstract:With the popularity of WoT more and more WoT system are produced. These systems are controlled through the match of the system data and rules. In order to make the control system, there are many intelligent WOT proposed fuzzy control theories based on wireless sensor network of intelligent control system design. In the use of relevant information signal sensor to collect the external environment, the wireless network information to the terminal server fuzzy controller can control tubular motor through fuzzy algorithm processing on actuators MCU based defuzzification accordingly. In the tubular motor driven mechanical system, it can achieve intelligent actuator adjustment in addition to the timer module achieving timing control function. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the WOT fuzzy control theory is applied to the automatic control system of WOT system which makes its implementing agencies vary with the outside parameter such as wind speed, light intensity and temperature changes to improve flexibility and precision control.
