Abstract:A series of tetradecyl methylacrylate-maleic anhydride random copolymer (TMA-co-MAH) were prepared and characterized as new type of interfacial modifiers. The influence of some factors on the copolymerization was studied. When the glass mat coated with coupling agent was treated using TMA-co-MAH solutions and compounded with PP, both MAH content and concentration of TMA-co-MAH solutions affected the mechanical properties of glass mat reinforced polypropylene composites (GMT-PPs). The introduction of TMA-co-MAH solution resulted in significant improvement of mechanical properties of the composites. It was shown that the optimal mononer ratio and concentration of copolymer solution were MAH:TMA=7:3 and 0.3%, respectively. The impact strength, the flexural strength and modulus of GMT-PPs treated with the new type of interfacial modifiers were all higher than GMT-PPs treated with maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene (PP-g-MAH) solutions as they were used at same level.

Abstract:This paper introduced information theoretic entropy into game theory, and presented the notion of strategic entropy. Based on strategic entropy, we proved that maximum strategic entropy is the enough and necessary condition of Nash Equilibria. The basic theorem provided the new method of achieving and refining Nash Equilibria.

Abstract:In this paper, the reservoir is modeled by homogeneous two-phase media based on BISQ model. We focus on the effects of the squirt flow on the fundamental guided waves propagation in borehole embedded in saturated porous media excited by monopole, dipole and quadrupole point sources. The full waveforms acoustic logging in a fluid-filled borehole are simulated. The curves of velocity dispersion, attenuation coefficients and excitation of the fundamental guided waves have shown that velocity dispersions are almost independent of the characteristic squirt flow length, attenuations of guided waves are enhanced due to the squirt flow, and excitations of guided waves are decreased due to the squirt flow. It is possible to estimate the characteristic squirt flow length by attenuation coefficients of the guided waves from acoustical logging data.

Abstract:orphological development of forced tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa ) was observed in 17 Chinese and 3 Japanese cultivars (cvs.) and the effect of pre-chilling on the growth and development was studied comparatively between Chinese and Japanese cv. groups. The development from bud swelling to flowering was composed of 8 stages. The growth of leaf, stem and flower bud mainly occurred at stages IV-VII, of which the stage VI was longest and grew most. The stage III, IV and V were very complicated in morphology by cvs., but could be identified easily by the leaf development. The pre-chilling promoted the growth and advanced the flowering, but the stage for it to work was different from Chinese to Japanese cvs., which indicated the existence of different growth mechanisms. The pre-chilling affected Chinese cvs. at the early stages but Japanese ones at the later stages. Chinese cvs. grew more rapidly and were simply with temperature requirement for sprouting and flowering, but the

Abstract:Multi-parameter measurement is important for building health monitoring. In this paper, we use fiber Bragg grating(FBG) and extrinsic Fabry-Perot interferometer(EFBI) sensor to realize the measurement of strain, temperature and vibration. A universal demodulate method, which combines the low coherence interference demodulation of EFBI and fiber Fourier transform demodulation of FBG, is proposed. Thus it is possible to extract the signals from FBG and EFBI parallelly with only a Michelson interferometer. A data fusion model is established to process the origin data to get more precise results and distinguish the different parameters. The system is tested on a equi-intensity cantilever, and the results of experiment show that strain and temperature can be obtained efficiently.

Abstract:A theoretical analysis for momentum and energy boundary layer transfer behavior in power law non-Newtonian fluids is made. The types of potential flows necessary for similar solutions are determined and the full similarity equations for both momentum and energy boundary layer are developed which may be characterized by a power law relationship between shear stress and velocity gradient with the Falkner-Skan equation as a special case. Furthermore, the numerical solutions are presented and the associated transfer behavior is discussed.

Abstract:Based on the fundamental law of the geometrical lens, the compound lens is studied, in order to optimize the axial irradiation uniformity of the laser. Research outcome shows that the adoption of the compound lens is capable of increasing the axial line-focus length to a certain extent. Meanwhile, after the energy attenuation in the plasma has been considered, moderating the optical parameter of the compound lens to get the corresponding energy output to compensate for the attenuation optimizes the irradiation uniformity along the line-focus.

Abstract:In this paper, an efficient group key agreement protocol is proposed based mainly on the 2-party GH key exchange scheme and the intractability of discrete logarithm of finite field GF(pr). . By investigating its implementation complexity, dynamic property and authentication algorithm, it is shown that, compared with the existing DH-based protocols, the new protocol is computationally more efficient and can resist timing attacks The proposed protocol can be used to establish contributory group key for dynamical group communications such as ad-hoc networks.
