Abstract:For any given symmetric measure u on the closed unit disk $overline{mathbb{D}}$, by characterizingthe relationship between the Berezin transform and harmonic functions, we obtain that if both $f$ and $g$ are bounded harmonic on $mathbb{D}$, then the Toeplitz operator $T_f$ commutes with $T_g$ on $A^2(overline{mathbb{D}},dmu)$ if and only if at least one of the following conditions holds: (1) both $f$ and $g$ are analytic on $mathbb{D}$; (2) both $overline{f}$ and $overline{g}$ are analytic on $mathbb{D}$;(3) there exist constants $a,binmathbb{C}$, not both 0, such that $af+bg$ is constant on $mathbb{D}$.

Abstract:We derive varepsilon-uniform error estimates for two first-order upwind discretizations of a model inhomogeneous, second-order, singularly perturbed boundary value problem on a non-uniform grid. Here, varepsilon is the small parameter multiplying the highest derivative term. The grid is suggested by the equidistribution of a positive monitor function which is a linear combination of a constant floor and a power of the second derivative of the solution. Our analysis shows how the floor should be chosen to ensure varepsilon-uniform convergence and indicates the convergence behaviour for such grids.

Abstract:The classical Morrey spaces were introduced by Morrey to study the local behaviour of solutions to second order elliptic partial differential equations. Since then these spaces play a very import role in studying the regularity of solutions to second order elliptic partial differential equations. As Morrey spaces may be considered as an extension of Lebesgue spaces, it is natural and important to study the weighted boundedness for operaters in Morrey spaces. Much work in this direction has been done. The studying of sublinear operators is very active these years, in this paper, the authors introduce a type of topological structure in the Cartesian product and a set function, and in advance discuss weighted boundedness of sublinear operators in Morrey spaces. The result improve and extend the known results.

Abstract: Maximal functions play a very important role in harmonic analysis. The classical Morrey spaces were introduced by Morrey to study the local behaviour of solutions to second order elliptic partial differential equations. Since then, these spaces play an important role in studying the regularity of solutions to partial differential equations. As homogeneous spaces may be considered as an extension of R^n spaces, it is natural and important to study the boundeness for operaters in Morrey spaces on homogeneous spaces. In this paper, the authors introduce a type of topological structure in the Cartesian product and a set function mapping the balls on homogeneous spaces into the sets in the Cartesian product , and obtain boundeness of generalized operators in Morrey spaces 。Some results have been obtained and the result in this paper improve and extend the known results.

Abstract:In this article, we pay attention to the fundamental of the listed companies. We acquire the 2008 medium-term financial targets of 30 companies which are listed in mainland China, and then we choose 8 financial targets to analyze by using SPSS13.0, interpreting the special meanings of each factor, selecting the winning stocks from the 30 stocks by computing the general scores of each stock.. And these numbers help us to find the stock “Petro China” which is the best out of the 30 stocks.

Abstract:In this paper, we show the existence of at least three nontrivial solutions to the quasilinear elliptic equation-p(x)-Laplacian equation in a smooth bounded domain with nonlinear boundary condition or Dirichlet boundary condition u=0. The method we used here is based on Nehari skills on three sub-manifolds of the space W^{1,p(x)}(\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Omega).

Abstract:Plateau’s problem is to determine the surface with minimal area that lies above an obstacle with given boundary conditions. In this paper, a special example of this class of the problem is given and solved with the linear finite element method. First, we triangulate the domain of definition, and transform the linear finite element approximation into a constrained nonlinear optimization problem. Then we introduce a simple and efficient method, named sequential quadratic programming, for solving the constrained nonlinear optimization problem. The sequential quadratic programming is implemented by the fmincon function in the optimization toolbox of MATLAB. Also, we discuss the relations between the number of grids and the computing time as well as the precision of the result.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate some new properties of modules over a formal triangular matrix ring $R$, we study the quasi-injectivity and the projective dimension of modules; A condition is found for a $R$-module to be a p.p. module; We determine necessary and sufficient conditions for $R$ to be regular or Dedekind-finite.

Show/Hide Abstract | Cite this paper︱Full-text: PDF (0 B)
Abstract:The self-adjoint domains associated with a scalar differential expression of an arbitrary even order are investigated in this paper. There is a known one-to-one correspondence between these domains and the complete Lagrangian subspaces of a naturally defined symplectic space. Using this correspondence, a characterization of the self-adjoint domains is obtained for the situations where the differential expression is regular at one of the end points of its interval and in either the limit-point category or the limit-circle category at the other end point. Moreover we get a complete describing on the couple-grade of boundary conditions, and point out there are how many classifications on the couple-grade of boundary conditions in limit-point and limit-circle cases.
