Abstract:We investigated the dynamics of the double-channel dissociation of NaCs molecule using the time-dependent wave packet method and the "split operator-Fourier transform" wave packet propagation scheme. At given wavelength and intensity of laser pulse, the population of each state changing with time is given. The photo-absorption spectra and kinetic-energy distribution of the dissociation fragments, which exhibit vibration-level structure and dispersion of the wave packet, respectively, are also obtained. The results show that with increasing the laser intensity, one can find not only the band center shift of the photo-absorption spectrum, but also the change of the fragment energy. The appearance of the diffusive band in the photo-absorption spectrum and the multiple peaks in the kinetic-energy spectrum can be attributed to the effects of the pre-dissociation limit and the external field.

Abstract:In 2011 Zhang and Cheung proposed a tripartite scheme with a GHZ state[{it J. Phys.} B {f 44} (2011) 165508]. It is applicable for sharing two restrictedsets of operations in a deterministic manner. In this paper it is generalized so thatanother six restricted sets of operations can be shared deterministically, too. One the one hand, features about scheme security, sharer symmetry, fulfillment determinacy and experimentalfeasibility are exposed. On the other hand, quantum and classical resource consumption, necessaryoperation complexity and efficiency of the generalized scheme are analyzed.

Abstract:(Sr,K)(Zn,Mn)2As2 was found to be a bulk diluted magnetic semiconductor system with decoupled charge and spin doping through K+ for Sr2+ and isovalent Mn2+ for Zn2+ substitution. The doped SrZn2As2system has a hexagonal CaAl2Si2-type structure with the Zn2As2layer forming a honeycomb-like network. Magnetization measurements show that the samples undergo ferromagnetic transitions with a Curie temperature of 23 K and saturation moment about 1.5 μB/Mn. Surprisingly, colossal negative magnetoresistance (MR), defined as [ρ(H)?ρ(0)]/ρ(0), up to ?99.8% was also observed in this system. The discovery should bring new excitement to this field and make the recently discovered bulk DMSs truly appealing class of systems. With decoupled charge and spin doping, this system combines semiconductor, ferromagnetism and colossal magnetoresistance (CMR), which make it appealing not only for theoretic study but also for application.

Abstract:We simulate the bond and site percolation models on several three-dimensional lattices, including the diamond, body-centered cubic, and face-centered cubic lattices. As on the simple-cubic lattice [Phys. Rev. E, extbf{87} 052107 (2013)],it is observed that in comparison with dimensionless ratios based on cluster-size distribution, certain wrapping probabilities exhibit weaker finite-size corrections and are more sensitiveto the deviation from percolation threshold $p_c$, and thus provide a powerful means for determining $p_c$.We analyze the numerical data of the wrapping probabilitiessimultaneously such that universal parameters are shared by the aforementioned models, andthus significantly improved estimates of $p_c$ are obtained.

Abstract:An all fiber, wavelength tunable, Q-switched erbium-doped fiber laser (EDFL) based on a graphene saturable absorber (SA) has been demonstrated. The wavelengths of the Q-switched laser can be accurately tuned over a range of ~35 nm by inserting into the cavity an unbalanced Mach-Zehnder interferometer (UMZI) with a variable optical delay line (OVDL) in one arm, which acts as an optical beam filter into the cavity. The Q-switched pulse duration and the pulse energy have all been characterized. A maximum pulse energy of 36.9 nJ was obtained.

Abstract:We investigate quantum size effect on the spin-dependent shot noise in the diluted magnetic semiconductor(DMS)/semiconductor heterostructure with a nonmagnetic semiconductor (NMS) barrier in the presence of external magnetic and electric fields. The results demonstrate that the NMS barrier plays a quite different role from the DMS layer in the electron transport process. It is found that spin-down shot noise shows relatively regular oscillations as the width of DMS layer increases, while the spin-up shot noise deceases monotonically. However, as the width of NMS layer increases, the spin-down shot noise displays irregular oscillations at first and then decreases while the spin-up shot noise decreases at a quite different rate. The results indicate that the shot noise can be used as a sensitive probe in detecting material type and its size.

Abstract:It is shown that, if the reduced density matrix (RDM) of an open system may reach a stationary solution for long times, and if the environment of the system has certain random feature, then, in the limit of large Hilbert space of the environment, the stationary RDM is commutable with a renormalized Hamiltonian of the system. Here, the renormalized Hamiltonian is given by the unperturbed Hamiltonian plus certain average of the interaction Hamiltonian over the environmental degrees of freedom. Under the above-mentioned conditions, the eigenbasis of the renormalized Hamiltonian is usually a preferred basis in view of the long-time evolution of the RDM.

Abstract:Asymmetric light transmission in one-dimensionally separation-varied waveguide arrays is explored both theoretically and numerically in this paper. The theoretical results show that the value of the transmission contrast of the system is dependent only on the coupling coefficients of two uniform waveguide arrays. Corresponding numerical simulations demonstrate that the number of the layers in the separation varied waveguide part affects the transmission dynamics of the light beam but unrelated to the value of the transmission contrast, which is in good agreement with the theory.

9. Demodulation method of orthogonal interferometer based on 1/8 wave plate

Abstract:The orthogonal interferometer based on 1/8 wave plate generates orthogonal signals by optical configuration. It is widely applied to interference system because of simple optical path and passive demodulation scheme for easy operation. But in the process of demodulation, the DC component of the signal needs to be eliminated. Because of the instability of light source and optical structure, the DC component of the signal may change over time. Therefore the circuit subtracting a constant can not thoroughly eliminate the DC component, causing the demodulation results are inaccurate. A improved demodulation algorithm is proposed in this paper. Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that, the demodulation method is almost not affected by the size of the DC component. When small deviation in DC component occurs, the demodulation results keep stable and accurate.

Abstract:MgXZn1?XO nanofibers with different doping concentration were prepared by atom layer deposition (ALD) using polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) nanofibers as template. The influence of Mg doping concentration on the structure and optical properties of composite nanofibers were investigated. The samples were characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM),ultraviolet visible(UV-vis)absorption spectroscopy and photoluminescence (PL) spectra. The morphologies of all the samples were not changed while the diameter of MgXZn1?XO-PVP composite nanofibers became larger after doping. With increasing Mg doping concentration, the absorption edge shifted to larger energy side, revealing the band gap tunability of MgXZn1-XO nanofibers. Meanwhile, a significant blue shift of the UV emission peak from 377nm to 362nm was observed in PL spectra. Compared with ZnO-PVP composite nanofibers, the UV emission intensity of MgXZn1?XO-PVP composite nanofibers were much stronger.
